As per usual nuance is forgotten. People weren't mad there was a gay romance, they were mad it was implemented in a sequel where Henry was said by the devs themselves when developing the first game that Henry is not you, he's his own character. Then they changed that in the sequel & it came off as weird as hell, which it did. And to make that gay romance with Hans of all people was even weirder considering Hans was depicted as a womanizer rich boy. But none of that came even close to the fact that you couldn't even enter Christian churches in the game for me. Or the one Muslim character who's entire dialogue boiled down to how he thought Christian people were barbaric animals. But like typical games journalims yall just make up your own narratives. At least I played the game & reviewed it, if you don't believe me, check my PSN it's Shoryyuken. I ain't lying, I know what I played.
