It’s not about being “soft.” It’s about not entering spaces that intentionally disrespect you. BBC willingly chose to air this slur. They chose to have a mic next to someone with an uncontrollable disability. Black folks are always expected to take the high road, and toughen up, which only gives people the excuse to continue the behavior. Maybe if prominent Black actors don’t show up to next year’s awards, they’ll understand there is consequences to disrespect.

Content warning ⚠️ - an elderly Jewish man has been killed by a pro Palestinian protestor who hit him over the head with a megaphone at yesterday’s Israel rally. Sadly, the victim has passed away from internal bleeding. May his memory be a blessing and his attacker be prosecuted to the fullest degree of the law!

The Battle of Castle Itter: When the Allies and Germans Fought Together In the final days of World War II, on May 5, 1945, an extraordinary event unfolded in the Austrian village of Itter - the Battle of Castle Itter. This battle showcased an unusual alliance between German and American forces against a common enemy. The picturesque Castle Itter, located in the Austrian North Tyrol, was a place of historical significance. Within its walls were incarcerated prominent French prisoners, including ex-prime ministers, generals, and other high-ranking individuals. As the war neared its end in Europe, this castle became a focal point of a gripping and unlikely battle. Major Josef "Sepp" Gangl, a German Wehrmacht officer, commanded the nearby garrison. Instead of adhering to orders from the retreating German forces, Gangl chose to protect the prisoners from an impending attack by the 17th Waffen-SS Panzer Grenadier Division. The defenders of the castle included the German soldiers led by Major Gangl, an American tank crew commanded by Lieutenant John Lee, a handful of Austrian resistance fighters, and the French prisoners. They found themselves standing united against the might of the Waffen-SS. When the SS launched their assault, the defenders fought valiantly, engaging in intense and close-quarters combat. Despite being outnumbered and outgunned, they managed to hold their ground until relief arrived. A U.S. Army task force, led by Captain Jack Lee, reached the castle on May 6, 1945, liberating the defenders and prisoners. The Battle of Castle Itter remains a remarkable and unconventional chapter in World War II history, illustrating the unpredictable alliances and unique circumstances that can emerge even in the midst of a devastating global conflict.

As men were sent to fight in the war, the Nazis had to employ women as guards at their death camps. One of the most infamous of these female guards was Ilse Koch. With her husband, Karl Koch, Ilse served as the well-known “Bitch of Buchenwald.” At the war’s end, Ilse was sentenced to life in prison for her role in the torture and extermination of prisoners at this notorious concentration camp.

@palapid @Richeydarian Good point. When I heard that 30,000 Thais were in Israel during 10/7, it surprised me, I didn't know Thailand as a labor-exporting country. I thought they were there to learn Israel's farming techniques, like how they also learned at our IRRI in the 70's. 😉

3. Print the t-shirt There are several services available for printing your t-shirt. For the example, I use Printful (you can also print hoodies, caps, etc.). Just crop the design on a white background this time, and remove the background with a tool like remove .bg or Clipdrop. Choose a product, upload your design, and you're ready to go! When you receive an order, you can send it directly to Printful, who will print and ship the T-shirt. /!\ Order a sample to ensure the quality of your clothing, and be honest with your customers about product origin, features, delivery times and so on.
