Then when I lost, I realized the market had only been lending me confidence before taking everything back. Over the years, I’ve realized most people lose not because they lack knowledge, but because they are too impatient. They want to make in a few weeks the kind of money that should take years. That is also why most accounts end the same way. Futures are not wrong. They are just a tool. But if you enter the market thinking about “getting rich quick,” then you have already become its target. I still trade futures every day. I still make money from them. But I no longer see them as a fast track to wealth. I see them as a job. And only when you stop trying to get rich quickly do you begin to have a chance to survive long enough to truly become wealthy. It has been four days since I placed my last trade. I’m not taking a break I’m simply waiting and observing. I refuse to force trades just because I haven’t traded for a few days. The market will always offer another opportunity. My job is to be patient enough to wait for the right one.
