They are rtarded because religion or god as a “purpose” driving every decision you make does not result in you being intent on learning new things
Because your pastor who drives an 03 toyota and doesn’t have custody of his kids has it figured out for you and you can just “amen” your way to heaven
The church does not inspire change but actually does the opposite
Turns your personal root incentive from a pure individualistic search for truth
Which inspires massive change and understanding of lots of things and leads you directly to a tier 2 purpose which is a goal you have and want to change in this material world
To a provided, stamped, out of the box, verified truth and even guarantees eternal paradise in the offer
It sets many subconscious boundaries of understanding that over time, during your “practice” of the religion (being brainwashed - literally a set of beliefs that are being instilled in you constantly)
Completely removes incentive to search for truth independently without mentally bringing the church along and factoring all information you input through the truth you practiced your whole life that consists of a ton of ideas that you aren’t incentivized to ever even think about questioning because it’s already truth to you which means it’s beyond subconscious
all the things appearing in your mind (ideas and thoughts) are the result of that truth and everything baked into it
You have lost the choice in the determination of who you are and what it means to be alive at the deepest level
What it means to be good or bad. If evil exists and how it appears in incentives intrinsic to your biology
Already answered for you.
In my case, none or these things are accounted for in my root truth and purpose
Seeking truth is in that place and above all else
This is a never ending inspiration that I believe is truly at the core of the entire universe
A system encroaching upon and decrypting truth infinitely
That is the only reward function needed to provide infinite movement and change in the universe (energy for eternity)
We never get to truth that is the point it just makes us move around and do things and think and perceive and I can make a very coherent argument on that being the only thing to possibly provide consciousness itself
So adopting beliefs fed to you RELIGIOUSLY EVERY SUNDAY ON A PLATTER
Is not helping you have more energy it is only stealing your energy
Curiosity is the fuel for understanding and understanding is fuel for truth
So be curious about everything - you will have more energy
And also be rewarded with intelligence which happens to be extremely valuable in this market
