HOW TO BE AN INNOVATOR AND INCREASE INTELLIGENCE OVERALL (FIRST EVER THREAD I’m a 22yo PERSONALLY worth 200ish million conservatively - this is not larp and extremely real sauce if you read this entire thing your life should be totally different afterwards assuming your IQ is over 100) I constantly have brilliant billion dollar ideas that revolve around assisting the government and increasing government revenues worldwide I have so many ideas that I could get gov contracts for I don’t pursue these of course because government is immoral and disgusting so aiding government is as well But I have these ideas because I understand government from first principles I spend a lot of time thinking about authority, influence, justice, democracy, etc I have spent time studying all of these things to avoid government theft and understand where weak points are Where loopholes exist and grey areas open up I study these things more than anything else That is why I have almost perfect ideas on exactly how the government could make more money The deeper your understanding, the better you can see root problems and truths, the better your solution to rid these problems In every single field and industry Even gambling I saw a clip of a person on stake slots strategizing which slot to pick based on the company who provides the software for the specific games stake offers Even in an online casino A deeper understanding increases your ability to make a profitable decision and overall guarantees BETTER IDEAS if you fully understand something from first principles, everything surrounding that thing, how everything connects and the common denominators between these things Not only will you have good ideas surrounding this thing, you will not be able to stop seeing exactly how you can improve whatever it is that you truly understand You need to be radically intentional about studying First study how to study and figure out how YOU as an individual arrive at truth in the most time efficient way For me, when I want to learn about ANYTHING I do not study the topic first I find out who created, pioneered, invented, advanced, conceptualized, etc the topic in question And study that PERSON (usually its many people for industry I look at the most important advancements in 10ish year increments starting NOT FROM THE BEGINNING OF TIME) But from today Because reading a biography or watching interviews on the man who invented and commercialized the most recent significant change in automated farm equipment (for example) Will tell you exactly how that person got to the point where they could innovate an industry You will almost always be able to find out who they learned from, and then what they took away from it leading to their innovation Then you can follow the trail through history Go study the person that the person your studying studied and repeat this Eventually you have an incredibly accurate understanding of anything in a short amount of time The understanding comes from being able to pickup on the pattern in that industry What did all the most impactful innovators have in common? What inspired and drove them to create? What SKILLS did they have? In interviews you will often hear them giving predictions How accurate were these people’s predictions? Sometimes they are really accurate Sometimes in certain industries the pattern doesn’t lie in what every innovator predicts Because massive innovations required this person to see things differently from everyone because of a specific field or skill or experience they had that everyone else didn’t They had a unique understanding of all the correct things at the time to make this happen They saw something no one else saw because a pattern they took from somewhere else could be found in the industry The more industries you conduct this exercise on the more you approach a first principles understanding of industry itself

The difference between me and you boils down to the fact that I know the girl that used to do all the voice over for watchmojo top 10 yt videos gives amazing head and I don’t know anything about her never seen or met her in my life But I just know off voice All our differences can be boiled down to that simple fact I can tell if it’s good off voice

65% of Gen Z identify as content creators Demand for social capital is increasing Supply (consumers of content) is not increasing as fast The supply of people competing for attention is growing faster than the supply of human attention Human attention is ultimately constrained by time As attention becomes scarcer, established audiences and distribution become increasingly valuable assets So acquired social capital should appreciate exponentially over time Generally speaking the Gen Z crowd hasn’t done anything worth discussing and they are largely without insight or experienced hardship, specialized knowledge, etc So if you are in this crowd, simply do something worth discussing (for this to be true you must suffer, develop understanding, and sacrifice time) After you have dedicated yourself to a cause and reaped the self growth and knowledge that comes with this dedication Communicating your story and experiences to the rest of your inexperienced, unimportant, lost, insignificant, insecure, peers trying to be content creators while they work retail or fast food Will be all you need to generate social capital and influence You can fake your story, many on this app do, but then your influence will be limited to individuals who have not yet achieved anything, because people who have will know you are lying And these are the people that make your audience valuable in the first place, people with resources, people who would invest in products or services you distribute to your audience I don’t advise you “build in public” I don’t advise you “become a content creator” I only advise you dedicate yourself to something that makes an impact then leverage that accomplishment to gain social capital which should be very valuable to your future endeavors and can act as a crucial creative outlet that provides a sense of fulfillment while you continue to dedicate yourself in priority pursuits of impact on the world through markets which will always hold more real opportunity for change than the content you create about it

Do I agree if the “overall wellbeing and development of a child is optimized in a traditional two parent household” My problem with this question is, “optimized” towards what exactly? Future earning potential Happiness and fulfillment later on in life Academic achievement Standardized test scores Social adeptness Not being Incarcerated Not committing violent crime Contribution to the IRS Opportunity creation Health and life span I think it’s literally impossible to accurately measure the true “overall wellbeing and development” of a child because to start development of something you first need an established blueprint or goal This implies we know the meaning to life We don’t If this study were to be conducted every conductor would have their own definition of wellbeing and developed It would be based on the type of citizen they have interest in seeing more of If the government did this study a model citizen looks different than if a church did this study or if a university did this Any consensus between these very different institutions is compromise and unfortunately measures nothing anyone values in a society The only person with insight on my overall wellbeing and development is me in reality Trauma and hardship can be transformed into growth and heightened gratitude or things I believe would be determined undesirable ie not properly developed like violent crime My parents were never together Both very poor with severe alcohol and substance abuse issues my entire life Both with criminal records Father was murdered at 12 Me and my sister had like 4.0 gpa’s excelled in extracurriculars and had many offers for free college We are both doing great financially We both have friends and have traveled and I can’t speak for her but I am extremely happy with my life and wouldn’t change a thing But I’ve been under federal investigation on and off for years I’ve been in so many lawsuits in many levels of court What measurements would make me accurately appear in the column of this study which counts me as optimized for overall wellbeing and development because whatever you call my upbringing of poor fcked up child custody battles and substance abuse everywhere I looked created me and my sister who is an Ivy League alumni and makes more than the average US household yearly There’s no solid formula or equation for character or development that will reflect reality the most important variables are not even discovered yet I think siblings have similarly important impact on children as parents do I think your self image when you are younger is very plastic and moldable therefore responsible figures that encourage this molding and growth properly is very important but I don’t think it’s necessary this molding is done under one household or under any particular tradition we are familiar with today
Akin 🇨🇦@laceupwpg

@MEvsIRS What about having/raising children? Would you agree or disagree that the overall wellbeing and development of a child is optimized in a traditional two-parent household? I acknowledge that this dynamic can be created without legal marriage

This was posted unironically “Tells you everything you need to know” I really can’t even imagine a hypothetical situation where this information would be something ANYONE would EVER “need to know” outside of literal game show jeopardy like scenario where they ask questions about how much money people made from talking about Jews exclusively That is the only time this post would contain anything you need to know

When I was 7 years old I once asked my father why he doesn’t work anymore He picked up the tv remote and muted the volume He looked over at me almost confused by this question and said “I’m needed elsewhere, my power far exceeds any job description you can imagine” He then pondered on his own statement visibly for a few seconds, agreed with himself, nodded at me, knowing this was a sufficient response to my 7 year old question, and unmuted My Name Is Earl while pissed drunk at 1pm on a Tuesday in a section 8 1 bedroom apartment at the age of 29 We never spoke about his work again my whole life Most of you will not understand this likely due to your monumental lack of power

People got very upset about this post and they didn’t even know why If you are like viscerally against the h1b program You either have to admit you are racist, admit you have no competence in your chosen profession, or accept you are a fan of communism and everyone is entitled to work, regardless of work ethic, stakes, merit, skill, reason, etc. Being a racist isn’t “wrong” either, that’s fine, but you can’t use arbitrary hatred as any lever in a logical argument about work force and the economy and expect to win the argument. U will lose these arguments until you realize you are losing because… you are being stupid… you aren’t completely stupid, you just currently believe in something stupid and when you grasp this you will drop this belief that does not enhance your understanding or capability in the world at all. Someone from every race can do something better than you to such a level that it’s nearly impossible to comprehend exactly how skilled they are at that thing Things exist inherently but one of those things is exception Black people go to jail and are more aggressive yes but Michael Jordan didn’t and has billions of dollars and will be remembered for his unparalleled achievements forever Michael Jordan’s existence as an exception should not do anything to further prove all black people are no good for humanity in your head Michael Jordan’s existence as an exception demonstrates potential is only dished out by one’s own imagination and has little to do with skin color, that work ethic is required for all feats of greatness and this is true if you are MJ or Phil Jackson Exceptions to previously established patterns of thought in your mind are opportunities to get closer to truth Ignoring these and maintaining your current perception is living in fiction and insanity You know it’s not a real pattern that is true in reality yet you choose to believe it and think through complex problems with that being absolutely true The people that suffer from this purposeful stagnation and appeal to ignorance is you and whoever your growth would benefit I am not claiming you have a moral obligation to love or hate or help or harm I don’t care if you are racist you can make good arguments for why white people are more important historically than black people in terms of quality of life but I would ask why you are making this argument and I would ask to what benefit is the fact you are fighting to prove if determined so The historical achievements of an arbitrarily defined group of humans across centuries and land masses and governance does not give logical reason to current situations we find ourselves in and seeking solutions for in the present Having great pride in things you never had any connection to outside of pigmentation is in my opinion very embarrassing It’s a desperate and lazy attempt to create meaning and respect in your life by way of genetic inheritance and more often just a resemblance of this inheritance not the actual genetic similarities If your argument for why white people are universally deserving of greater respect or rights includes their inventions, their innovations, their prosperity, etc Back in the day it was just assumed this was the case, the renaissance era would have never happened if everyone took the time trying to prove their race held some significance in a society needing solutions to problems instead of becoming capable of valuable inventions and art the world had not yet seen The discussion of equality was not popular or relevant due to lack of genuine curiosity in the fact white superiority is debatable or not observable anywhere ever Many factors attributed to this but the point is if your only sense of being valuable to society is riding the coattails of people who are in no relation to you and just kinda look like you then you are worthless and the people you are arguing for would not ever respect you because you’re not creating valuable stuff for anyone

HIRE INDIANS (read before replying) I have hired a ton of Indians and got them h1bs I’m not saying this to belittle. I truly prefer Indians for dev work as of late because white niggas want 230k salary and don’t want to come to office Indians also show more loyalty and don’t immediately leave ur company when offered 15% salary increase from a company that’s been around for 3 weeks fresh off an overvalued seed Never heard an Indian tell me about work life balance and priorities like health and family They don’t feel entitled to those things I’m not speaking about dev shops or 5/hr contractors I’m talking about American university educated Indians Go ahead and reply something racist I bet it will be super funny but before you do that go to selfie mode on ur camera and ask the person you see if they have ever built a massively successful software product that millions of people have used and found value in The person you see probably hasn’t So maybe that person has no idea what they are talking about and has let narratives spun by media cloud their perspective on the workforce If it wasn’t the media then that person should have no opinion because they have never hired anyone let alone hired 50 plus full time employees who actually created something the market agreed was of value Now you can give your super intellectual (I’m sure) take on Indian programmers I’m sure it’s coming from a place of experience and expertise and not one of absolute jealousy and fear If immigrants are so bad why are you scared they are taking ur jobs The only way that makes sense is if they understand how to provide value to a company better than you “They will just take less” Is a terrible rebuttal because any employer who is good at what they do understands quickly that paying more for someone who is good is a much better strategy and is always better than finding the cheapest I synthesize it to the lack of entitlement I find in 3rd worlders If this post upsets you there’s a reason why and it’s nothing to do with me Now trump fcked up the h1b program and made it way more expensive to hire Indians He pandered to the unskilled entitled citizens of this country and to their small brains this was a good thing But to someone who understands the market he hurt all of these poor entitled fearful patriots Because now we can’t innovate as fast Now it’s more difficult to hire the best talent This means US companies make less money and employ less people overall Restricting companies choice in the market will only ever hurt the market in the medium to long term If ur scared ANYONE will take ur job, Indians, Mexicans, or AI, all that means is you need to be better at what you do It doesn’t mean anyone or anything needs to be banned or removed Take some responsibility the blame game hurts you in the end. Just grow as a person Tis the solution to all things

That is easily defeated and not really an adage H1bs are for highly skilled high paying jobs These are not random minimum wage assembly line workers To earn a high paying job one must demonstrate responsibility and ability Via the same hiring practices everyone else must go through If anything we are importing “the 3rd world” to keep innovation and growth in the first world This is out of necessity India is producing highly skilled engineers at a higher rate than the US and they have much more of them

@MEvsIRS In summary, I believe many highly successful people overestimate their competence in other areas, valuing their opinions too greatly. "Import the third world, become the third world." Quickly becoming an undefeated and relatable adage for the simplicity in its observation.

1. All pussy is paid for The notion of “looking for the right girl for long term” is not entirely rejected by me I have been in lots of relationships If I continue to enjoy someones company then I will hopefully continue to see them and this is a relationship But the notion that this must be a contractual agreement which involves the state, my assets, and my full commitment through all potential scenarios and changes over time is ridiculous and unnecessary to me I try not to make decisions that my future higher self may find to be a constraint on growth and self development, that guy in the future knows more than me and I trust him to have the greatest possible amount of agency So the agreement of marriage is future self sabotage I don’t reject being with the same person for a long time I reject everything it implies from a societal perspective And in lots of cases, and places, a legal perspective Everything outside of the moments of company we share is what I reject Any additional agreements made by me and a significant other are purely out of present love and support not out of obligation or expectation and these agreements are usually never made with something left to honor or continue after the initial show of affection is made I can’t know that my partner is going to grow and change into someone that I want to spend the rest of my tiny sliver of human consciousness with. Because I am a variable for change as well, the odds we both grow over years and still think we are optimal for each others daily lives is highly unlikely there’s no one telling you that it’s sign the agreement or never see the person You don’t have to speak for your future self prematurely And there’s literally not a single benefit to you or the spouse So just don’t The subject gets forced in relationships which lack trust or include massive insecurities Marriage is a tool to ease uncertainties of faithfulness, resources, etc For example : You may want your girlfriend to give up her career and focus on family at home, half the reason is probably because she gets lots of male attention from coworkers (you are insecure abt this naturally) and half is because you actually want kids with her (she is less likely to leave you if you have kids as soon as possible.. an insecurity) , but this is risky for her to do because she would need to fully trust you as a breadwinner, roommate, and father, if you give up on any of these she is left in a vulnerable position and will have to restart, with baggage. So she starts talking about engagement. This conversation is only brought into this picture because it at least hypothetically deposits security so a further arrangement can be achieved that you think limits your own feelings of insecurity, and for this you traded her your promise you will not leave after she becomes fully reliant on you In this example and in most real life relationships I’ve observed marriage is used simply as a means to get what you need in terms of emotional stability in order to get what you actually want It is a prerequisite to a couples non existent purely mythical becoming of one, only required because one’s own fear of vulnerability 1+1=2 and 2 can always be halved I choose not to ignore the simple reality that 2 cannot exist as 1. A true symbiotic relationship can be observed in nature but this symbiosis is not fixed or forever. And its existence is due to necessary reciprocal value not due to pure willpower and commitment or desire for selflessness. A joining of two things is at the absolute sacrifice of the two things existence and the birth of something brand new. This is not how humans love Our love is a reflection of who we are, we are too aware of our own needs and wants to ever consciously sacrifice our lives entirely and completely, outside of dire circumstance, to create something novel

@MEvsIRS this take is cool when you’re a teenager but at some point you gotta grow up and learn love is a decision. you wake up every day and decide to love the person through their changes because they’d do the same for you (if you emphasize finding the right one). if you’re too afraid-

The more you scale the less control you have over growth Many things are out of your control because your entity plays a part in so many people’s lives And people are unpredictable Your anchor for sustaining growth no matter the political or legal climate or market conditions is ruthless control over expenses This is a factor you will always control What you spend Know when to max margins and use that to earn debt to max market share and know when to cut expenses and add cushion in case of a likely future uncontrollable fire What is your company’s minimum payroll to continue operating above water but not see expected growth Then take your 5 largest quarterly bills, add them together plus your minimum competent payroll number That estimation should always be in your brain You should see that number in your sleep You should have that covered for 3 quarters Take it from me, someone who has lost it all, know your baseline and be capable of falling back to there. Your immense input of energy into this opportunity vehicle over X amount of years of your only life is not worth being left with nothing because you were so leveraged your baseline was never considered or implemented. Having a baseline is leverage in itself Certain events out of your control will wipe out and severely damage your competitors if you can survive sometimes that’s all it takes to capture more market share, simply surviving in an environment very difficult to live through Acquisitions can give the illusion of continued sustained growth but this growth is only true if experienced by all entities you are now responsible for Growth can’t be calculated only by estimating market share The size of a market fluctuates daily and therefore your companies value Your debt service expense is not adjusting accordingly Your market share can grow immensely but the value of the market you are taking over can be drastically reduced quickly For instance, look at Staples and Office Depot Who cares who won that battle To the market they are both losing because physical locations are no longer anywhere near as much leverage as they were before Amazon They both lost
