@charlieo_conn If the flyers are serious about trading for Werenski. You're likely to trade 1-2 wingers in that deal and would need NHL ready players to fill some of the roles. If they don't move out any of the wingers then it's a head scratcher.

This trade is hilarious. The last time a top-5 pick in the NHL was traded (with both teams knowing it was top-5) was 2008. 18 years ago. This doesn't happen. GMs always chicken out.

You would basically replace Tuch and Byram with two players under making 11.5 mill and have additional draft picks to add more and still be under the cap. The risk would be more on the flyers end tbh.
