@realBlagojevich @BarackObama @realDonaldTrump How would you know about his presidency? Was there a TV to watch fox news on in the prison?
English

I’ve known @BarackObama since 1995. Haven’t seen him since 2008 when he sold me out after sending an emissary to me to discuss a political deal. I was just thinking about his Presidency. His leadership was as limp as his handshake. Thank God for @realDonaldTrump #MAGA
English

@NickAdamsinUSA Oh no! Everyone would be soooo mad if the eagles made the superbowl. Shame we dont care
English

Europe is dying 😔
The Rabbit Hole@TheRabbitHole
Europe's fertility rates are looking somewhat low

@Don_Morgan You aren't wrong lol. I guess I was just feeling optimistic about having a new president (even though I dont support him). I also thought that sure hed pick suckups to his cabinet (RFK, Noem) but to me I feel like Pete Hagseth and Matt Gaetz might be a bridge too far even for him
English

@zesakin With all due respect, I can’t see how you would have expected him to do anything else. This is who he is. Everything is transactional. You supported me so I will give you this job. It was never about what is best for the country. It was always about winning power.
English

@RedEaglePatriot This almost makes up for half of your predictions from the 6 years before that lol
English

Call me self aggrandizing, I don’t care. This is my victory lap, and this is our victory lap.
But it’s insane how I’ve predicted nearly everything right since the midterms…
-2022 autopsy vindicated (by 2024)
-Georgia runoff margin nailed perfectly
-DeSantis flaming out of the primary
-2023 elections nailed perfectly
-Iowa Caucus margin
-Michigan Primary margin
-Nailed Super Tuesday in every state
-Called Trump’s convictions boosting him
-Saying Kamala’s “boost” was never real and mostly response bias
-Correctly said Dems would have no DNC bump
-Said the new RNC would solve our competency issues and stop a lot of voter fraud
-Said Vance would be an “acquired taste” and end up helping Trump
-Said Ralston, Selzer, and Lichtman would be way off
-Said Trump would gain in most suburbs, including those around Philly
-Said Trump would win a quarter of black men under 45
-Said the popular vote was a jump ball (I should’ve been more bullish here)
-Called every state right except Michigan and nailed the House/Senate margins (222-213, 53-47…house may be a seat off but still)
-Certain predictions in-state were insanely accurate (Like in Ohio—where I said Trump by 11, Moreno by 4 with Brown losing Mahoning County, or Rhode Island moving right by a lot, or when I set the O/U margin on Virginia at 5.5)
The only thing I missed was thinking they wouldn’t have the balls to push Biden out. Either way, it wasn’t enough for them!
English

@Shellbone66 @SherrodBrown At least have some respect for someone who served 18 years of their life in an effort solely for your state- 18 years of constant flights back and forth from Washington to Ohio, countless sleepless nights, and 4 brutal campaigns, and he gets this as a goodbye #Respect #GodWasKind
English

@SherrodBrown Well, it's sad you didn't fight hard enough to keep jobs, illegals from invading, voted with Joe 90% of the time and allowed boys in girls sports. Maybe now we can get Ohio on the right track and fix what you screwed up. We have retired you!

On my lapel I wear a pin depicting a canary in a birdcage, given to me decades ago by a steelworker at a Workers’ Memorial Day rally in Lorain.
At the turn of the last century, coal miners took the canary down into the mines with them to warn them of poisonous gasses, because in those days, they didn’t have a union strong enough or a government that cared enough to look out for them.
When I first came to the Senate, I wore the official Senate pin for a couple of days, but it didn’t feel right. So I took it off and I put my canary pin back on. I’ve worn it every day since, and I’m not taking it off.
I will always believe that when you love this country, you fight for the people who make it work. I will never give up that fight.
