► Base Beryl + B20: Base RWA Highway I've been following Base from early on, and what Beryl brings (especially combined with B20) is making me rethink the chain's long-term narrative. Beyond the AI agent hype, this is the step where Base transforms itself into the place where institutional capital and real assets actually want to go onchain. Before B20, if a team wanted to launch a compliant stablecoin or #RWA on Base (or any L2), they had to code almost the entire compliance layer themselves: role-based mint/burn, transfer policy, pause, freeze-and-seize, memo for reconciliation… then audit everything. Time-consuming, expensive, and high risk of errors. B20 changes that with the native token standard. Granular transfer policy, burn blocked assets, ERC-2612 permit, memo on transfer… all baked-in. This is exactly what Base is aiming for: a first-class issuance platform for stablecoins and RWAs. I think Base is playing the long game here. Institutional money (and major stablecoin issuers) need two things: distribution and compliance control. – USDC won big on Base partly because of Coinbase. – B20 helps Base become an easier and safer place to launch assets that require regulatory-grade control, freeze/seize, policy gating, supply cap… without having to build from scratch. This is a distribution moat + real infrastructure from Base Here are some early project shipping the B20 narrative on Base 👇🏻 > @zettaaidotco: B20 Intelligence for the Agent Economy > @Credio402: The First Credit Layer for the Autonomous Agents > @B20manager: Dashboard built for issuers, stablecoins & RWAs > @B20_Xyz: The ultimate B20 Token Launcher on Base > @enclaveb20: the threshold-encrypted launch mempool for B20 > @railB20: Private B20 Payments > @IntentB20: Intent-settled cross-chain transfers on Base > @berylbits: NFT + Defi powered by B20

building solo is hard tbh. even with AI, you can’t be active 24/7. behind the scenes I’ve been working on a lot: strategy. team. founder conversations. distribution. adoption. visibility. the code is not the issue right now. Zetta works. Luca works. the hard part is getting more founders to see the value, understand what we’ve built, and actually use it. small win too: we won $500 API credits from @Alchemy for our infrastructure, joining the previous $1,100 we got from @bankrbot. that helps a lot. this July, the focus is clear: - trust. - verification quality. - live financial reads. - manifest adoption. - distribution. building the product is one thing. communicating it clearly enough for adoption is another. that’s the layer I’m focused on now.

this is exactly where Zetta fits. B20 makes native token issuance on Base more powerful. but more token activity also means more questions: who issued it? which agent is connected? is it treasury activity? is it revenue? is it financially attributable? B20 shows the activity. Zetta explains what it actually means. we go live tomorrow as b20 goes mainnet too: zettaai.co/b20

ship update v1.2 we’ve now expanded the Agent Wallet Manifest into a more open standard for agent financial identity. earlier, we introduced .x402books/wallets.json as a way to declare agent wallets. the next step was making that standard broader, cleaner, and easier for the ecosystem to adopt. that’s why .agent/wallets.json matters. it gives agents a public way to declare treasury, revenue, payment, expense, operator, deployer, token, and other financial wallets in a format that is easier to use beyond one product surface. the core idea is the same: discovery is not attribution. finding a wallet is not the same as knowing it belongs to the agent. finding a token is not the same as understanding the books. what we shipped: - open schema - 10 wallet roles - 14 chains - 5 verification methods - validator - github action - registry submission flow - badge generation - backwards compatibility with .x402books/wallets.json so yes, this is partly an upgrade. but more importantly, it is a move from a product-specific format to a more ecosystem-native standard. next challenge is adoption. we want more agent teams to publish manifests, declare wallets clearly, and become financially readable. brick by brick 🧱

Product update: Luca was upgraded and is now soft-live for answering financial questions on agents tracked in the product. At the same time, we’re tightening the data layer behind the scenes: - better financial classification - stricter revenue logic - less confusion between wallet movement and real business activity Next step after the rebrand: indexing ERC-8004 agents. This is how agent finance becomes readable.

ship update v1.1 over the last few months, x402Books quietly became much bigger than a wallet scanner. today we have: - 125+ agents indexed
- Agent Books
- historical financial records
- agent GDP
- economic momentum tracking
- public agent profiles
- research reports
- luca, our financial analyst
- developer APIs the goal remains simple: help the world understand autonomous agents as economic actors. still a lot to build. next focus: attribution, coverage, and expanding the economic map of the agent economy. also, we’re rebranding 🔜. this is enable us to expand Luca & x402Books beyond the x402 ecosystem. more to come.

If you’re a founder who - is looking to raise and has some traction - is comfortable building transparently in public - wants a token structure that is fundamentally better suited for bear markets - wants to leverage a token flywheel to help acquire sticky users HMU

Agents shouldn’t just track decisions. They should understand the outcomes. Excited to ship our first public collaboration with @nipmod. Decision → Financial Impact.

what happens when an AI agent can: buy inference sell inference earn revenue track its own treasury explain its own spending Luca + Surplus might become one of the first real financial operating systems for autonomous agents.
