Il n’y aura probablement jamais de train entre l’Algérie & le Maroc dans le contexte actuel, les relations politiques sont trop tendues pour envisager ce projet. En revanche, une liaison ferroviaire vers la Tunisie paraît beaucoup plus réaliste, les discussions sont en cours pour un axe comme Alger - Tunis, voire même Oran - Tunis ! C’est sérieusement envisagé. Cela s’inscrit dans une logique de coopération régionale plus stable & déjà existante entre les deux pays. Entre l’Algérie & le Maroc, c’est quasiment exclu pour l’instant, mais côté algéro-tunisien, il y a de vraies chances que ça avance dans les années à venir.

Together with RDW, we have officially completed the final vehicle testing phase for Full Self-Driving (Supervised) and have submitted all documentation required for the UN R-171 approval + Article 39 exemptions. The RDW team is now reviewing the documentation and test results package internally. They have communicated the expected approval for Netherlands date of 4/10, shifting from 3/20 previously and we look forward to successful completion of this cooperation.  Following the Netherlands’ approval, European countries will be able to recognize this approval nationally. We are anticipating a possible EU-wide approval during the summer. Over the past 18 months, this approval has involved a series of intense documentation, development, testing, research & audits. Including but certainly not limited to: – 1,600,000+ km of FSD (Supervised) testing on EU roads – 13,000+ customer sales ride-alongs – 4,500+ track test scenario executions – Thousands of pages of written documentation for 400+ compliance requirements – Dozens of research studies into safety performance/results We're extremely proud of the work conducted with the RDW team up until this point. We very much look forward to the approval in April, and sharing FSD (Supervised) with our patient EU customers!

Speaking to media, Vowles explained: “It is not complicated to bring it down already, and what I have in my inbox today is all of the engineering steps to not just bring it down, but actually be underweight by a good amount.” “If this were a cost cap world, I would execute it tomorrow, and it would be done in a few weeks. It is not, so you've got to time it with when the components effectively start to go out of life and where we will be bringing upgrades later in the season.” — He further elaborated on the complexity of the issue, noting that the weight affects various aspects of the car's performance: “If it was 20 kilos [overweight], it is more than that. It is not just the effective mass; when people calculate the number, they don't take into account the centre of gravity (CoG), and how it changes. They do not take into account the impact it has on the harvesting, on the minimum apex speed, which is impacted by the weight.” — Despite the challenges, Vowles remains optimistic about resolving the problem within the year: “It is a significant enough problem that we have made some very serious changes to how we operate, how we work, but it is fixable in the year.” “It is not something which happened last year; the car last year was below the weight limit, and I know the rules changed, but our ways of working are not sufficient to be able to deal with this amount of change.” — Vowles concluded on a positive note, highlighting the transparency and potential for improvement within the team: “In a really weird way, I'm very happy as there is nothing in the company anymore which is hidden, and it is all fixable, and we are not that far away from fixing it. Not a temporary ceasefire. Permanent guarantees. An Iranian close to the regime says Iran needs a guarantee and "won't retreat even if the war continues for one year." The IRGC is now fighting like a militant group instead of a conventional army. They've abandoned their bases, scattered across the country, and are producing missiles in hidden underground sites. Iran also learned something crucial: it can actually close the Strait of Hormuz. Tehran now knows this weapon works and could keep using it to hold the world economy hostage. Even if Trump declares victory and pulls out, Iran might keep hitting Israel and the Gulf. The regime sees this as existential survival. First, a drone struck the Mina al-Ahmadi refinery, one of the biggest in the Middle East with a production capacity of 730,000 barrels per day.
