NEW: SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce says crypto vaults and onchain lending strategies could fall under U.S. securities laws depending on how they're structured and managed. 4/ Flip it around and the harder version of the job shows up. Originators generating real yield in the real world rarely know how to bring it onchain, and most onchain teams have never had to build for someone in that position, structuring, regulation, distribution, done as one continuous relationship rather than handed off in pieces.
