As Gen Sec and CEO of the Royal College of Nursing, I spent many days in the company of our brilliant internationally educated nurses. Their commitment, dedication and personal sacrifice for our NHS is unquantifiable. Many of these nurses told me about leaving young families, elderly parents and even spouses behind in their parent country in order to look after our patients. Now they are being intimidated, burnt out of their homes and asked for professional ID at blockades when on their way to work. There are no words to describe how I feel about this as a registered nurse. #despicable #sickening #deplorable

Restore Britain is on track to hand victory to Andy Burnham at the Makerfield by-election, a leaked poll has suggested. The survey put Rupert Lowe’s party at 13 per cent of the vote, sitting 11 percentage points behind Reform UK, which polled at 24 per cent. We are deeply sorry for the pain and suffering the Nowak family has had to endure. "We love Vickrum. We will continue to love him. That love does not stand in opposition to the sorrow we feel for the Nowak family. Both are real, and both will remain with us for the rest of our lives. "We would give anything to turn back time so the path of both Henry and Vickrum never crossed that night. We cannot change what has happened, we just hope that no further pain is caused in its name. "We apologise to the Sikh community for our son’s actions which have unfairly brought the community into disrepute. Residents of Bridgend Last week, shocking footage emerged from the Dipping Bridge in Merthyr Mawr showing individuals publicly butchering a lamb carcass in broad daylight, dangling it and cutting it up with a sharp knife directly in front of young families and children. This barbaric scene happened in full view of the public, including families with young kids. If the full facts are as reported, this is absolute barbarism being carried out in full public view by individuals with no regard for basic decency or the law. This is not the standard of behaviour we should tolerate in our communities. Restore Britain will always stand up for decent, law abiding residents and demand that our streets and public places remain safe and civilised for families. I expect South Wales Police to investigate this immediately.
