@heyeaslo Step 1 is the most underrated part of this. It’s the first 'win' of the day. I’m currently building an app-locker that requires a photo of a made bed to unlock your socials, specifically to help people protect a routine exactly like this one. No phone until the work is done.

My Simple Morning Routine: 1. Make My Bed 2. 5 Minute Journal 3. 20 Minute Exercise 4. Drink Coffee 5. Deep Work

@beyoumf Most people fail this routine by 5:05 AM because they pick up their phone. I don't personally struggle with 'bed-rotting,' but I know it's the #1 productivity killer. So I built a tool that locks the phone until the bed is made. It turns 'willpower' into a mandatory system.

The million dollar morning routine: • Wakeup – 5 A.M. • Exercise – 5:30 A.M. • Shower – 6 A.M. • Meditate – 6:15 A.M. • Read – 6:30 A.M. • Breakfast – 7 A.M. • Set 3 goals – 7:15 A.M. • Work – 7:20 A.M. Walk in the sun during your break.

Your app doesn't need one more feature before launch. It needs to exist. Ship it. Cringe at it later.

Honest week 1 numbers for Retrospect:   Downloads: a few (more than zero, less than viral) Reviews: none yet (apparently people don't review apps unprompted, who knew)   Lesson: submitting is the easy part. Getting anyone to open the thing is a whole separate job.
