This week staff from ERA, @MoEnvmv & @MMRI_Maldives took part in a hands-on coral reef fish ID and underwater survey training. From theory sessions to survey dives, participants strengthened skills in fish ID, field methods, data standards and reef monitoring.

Really refreshing to see so many community led Eid events around my maafannu uthuru, breakfasts, gatherings, and even simple acts neighbours did like passing out sweets and drinks along Fareedhee Magu. At the end of the day, we’re the same people, beyond politics and polarization. This is what we need to revive and rebuild our sense of community Eid Mubarak everyone! Stay blessed 🎉

In awe of design of Masjidul Thaubah shared by @AhmedThahsyn . It’s vernacular roots meets minimalist barn-house chic. The orientation of the prayer hall along the breadth of the Qibla and that Mughal-like interior symmetry create such a unique, contemplative space. Stunning!

A sad day for the Maldives a political victory for both the opposition parties and the ruling party, for All the Wrong Reasons .
