Was paying $15/month for a popular AI voice to text tool.
But switched to an open source one where you download the model to your computer, and everything is done locally.
It's better, faster, more private, and it's free!

Cursor is the most excited I've been about a product since Clear to-do app.

6am. The kids are building in Minecraft. I just started building a Safari extension that shows the font, color, and contrast of anything you hover.

Just built a /handover command in Cursor.
Point it at a component → it matches everything to the design system, runs the build, and writes the dev a full spec. Fonts, spacing, animations, all documented.

Personal update: I've joined Anthropic. I think the next few years at the frontier of LLMs will be especially formative. I am very excited to join the team here and get back to R&D. I remain deeply passionate about education and plan to resume my work on it in time.
