My MudQuest project is too big! Building big projects as an indie hacker is tough - the odds aren’t on your side. Still, I loved it😍. After more than a year, all features are done, polishing bugs now, and it goes live February 1st. Super excited - next projects will be smaller.

@SebastianRoehl But the good thing is that you can use bot UIKit and SwiftUI in one project! So you will have access to the both wolds

@SebastianRoehl At the moment, UIKit has the best variety of SDK functionality and official examples. So if anyone reading this needs a fully functional navigation or map system, you would still need to go with UIKit, not SwiftUI.

🔥MudQuest: Notifications, Area Search, Events, and Off-Road Location Privacy features are done. We’re currently working on some polishing. Events and Notifications were the last two major features planned before release. Super excited to have you all try this! Coming live in Feb

Just purchased an @Apple developer subscription to run my app on a real device for the first time. Got a lot done — and then it hit me why! My phone wasn’t in my hands anymore 😄No endless scrolling between builds really helps me focus. Plus, it doesn’t eat up my laptop’s memory.

🎃Another late but productive indie hacking night comments, feed, and details view are ready. A few tweaks left, but most is done. Next up: Navigation! Found a way to add step-by-step nav at a decent cost — everything’s getting pricey, so I’ll pick tools more carefully next time

🚀🔧Media Hub progress update: All features are in place! Had to drop grouping for now — it’ll come after the beta release. Users can upload unlimited images, with up to 10 set as public for the feed. Rearranging and removing are also done! #mudquest #swiftui #dev #indiehackers

MudQuest Update: Finishing up the Media Hub for the active offroad party — a fully functional real-time chat with all participants and a shared gallery for ride photos, so no more “send me your Google Drive link” after the rides! 🚙🔥
