@MikhailaFuller It shouldn't be legal to replace the word Akathisia with "restlessness". It's nervous system torture. Your body becomes the torture chamber. The people selling the drugs knowing it's causing Akathisia should be prosecuted into prison for life. People are in Akathisia hell.

Akathisia is caused by psych med withdrawal but is also a side effect from a number of pharmaceuticals, not just withdrawal. Hell. The fact this fairly common reaction is hidden by pharmaceutical companies and renamed things like “restlessness” is criminal.

@Yrrepmot They never want to admit the harm. At best we get reassurance that it will "clear up" or trialing a new medication (often AD/APs). I'm so sorry

The psychiatrist (who I have never even met) is now saying the damage and withdrawal I am experiencing from Sertraline is “perceived” and they are “not convinced that the observed affect is from discontinuation of Sertraline”… 😒 This drug has taken everything from me and they won’t even acknowledge the harm it has caused. I never consented to this kind of risk and now they’re gaslighting me. Also, note how they try and blame my ARVs instead for all the symptoms associated with SSRIs. Since when were psychiatrists experts on HIV medication? My HIV Dr has never mentioned any of these symptoms could be caused by Truvada or Raltegravir. And it’s not commonly reported by pwHIV. What an absolute joke. #medicalgaslighting #PSSD #Sertraline #brainInjury #HIV

I’m going to start looking into voluntary assisted death in Switzerland. At this point I believe it’s my best option. Surviving day to day with this disease after I’ve lost everything is not worth it. My quality of life is very poor and there’s nothing left to fight for.

Need to prepare for my very probable death this year. So many loose ends to tie up & farewell notes to write. I kept putting it off, hoping I wouldn't need to do it, but now that my fate is becoming clear I'm too severe for it. An impossible illness, can't even die with dignity.
