@GrainsGorilla Big drought in the west. Every feedlot in the corn belt is going to be full of feeders burning through dirt cheap corn. This grain train is going to run right over the paper traders and analysts.

CALL your farm advisor and get some bushels sold!!! Don’t listen to them. Just give them a % to sell. Reward the China rumors. Funds are going to have a hard time supporting these prices without a drought and weather looks ideal the next month.

Me thinks the market is concerned about 26 and now 27 production issues. Get a $6 spring price in 27. Go all corn with high APh and buy up insurance and keep your input cost to $50/ac and move on.

Question for everyone. Has anyone not been able to buy fertilizer this spring? I know prices are high. I know you might have to wait for it's delivery But has anyone been told "it does not exist to purchase today"? Edit: I also do not mean prices pulled after major events.

Planted my food plot (deer food for hunting) last week. Forecast said 2 days of rain, which i was planning on helping seat my seed in the ground and kick off growing. It didn't rain. @ADoricko send help.

@sizov_andre North Dakota is one of the few states right now that has no coverage on the drought monitor. So I’m not understanding that rationale. Wheat is becoming a rotational crop anymore up here, and not the primary crop.

Are we running out of high-quality #wheat? Funds’ hard red spring wheat position just hit a record high. That could reflect weather risk, especially with moisture concerns in North Dakota, but also a broader concern that later-planted wheat may be more exposed to higher fuel and fertilizer costs.
