I don't know if Trump or Iran is lying but it's so painfully obvious that Iran no longer holds the cards. A 22 country coalition including gulf states and NATO pledged to "open SoH". Who knows wtf that even means on a physical/logistical standpoint. But after Iran allegedly showed the world it has missiles that reach London I can only imagine that strengthens the "coalition" End of last week they risked getting the gulf states involved. Today it's gulf states & Europe. They are winning zero friends. Sure, everyone is pissed at Trump for allowing Israel to kick the hornets nest, but that anger takes a back seat to energy needs/revenues. In 2 years Qatar went from housing Hamas leaders to expelling Iranian officials and threatening retaliation against the regime. Iran is alone here. It's painfully obvious. All the Russian supplied intel in the world doesn't change that. China will be hesitant to supply Iran arms if it means prolonging the SoH closure which they are incredibly dependent on. I'm a big fan of the anti-interventionalist narratives on this site however it sure seems like the line between that and America will fail are getting blurred.
