@littmath Also, what did you mean with "Given what current-gen LLMs can do"? I mean, I see them do amazing things, but nothing that (expert) humans cannot do. It "knows" more than any single human and it is much faster, but there is no reason to expect super human feats from it. Yet. 3/2

When I was on the ISS for my nearly year long mission, there was a telomere experiment comparing my telomeres to my earth baseline and my twin brother as a control. Hypothesis was they would get damaged and worse due to the environment. Turns out they got better. Initially NASA thought maybe it was due to exercise and diet. After I returned we learned JAXA had a telomere experiment on some small worms the same time I was there. Their telomeres got better too. Never saw the worms doing any exercise. After further study determined it was the radiation.

@ArthurSKM Volgens mij mag lopen ook niet; het noordelijkste puntje is m.i. enkel te bereiken als je rails oversteekt, want het ligt tussen twee sporen. Maar je kunt wel dichterbij komen dan je hebt aangegeven; dat veld daar is (of was?) namelijk ook (semi-)toegankelijk. 1/

@FloorRusman In het Vondelpark worden mensen bespuugd en aangerand vanaf fatbikes. Volgens mij is het best goed dat mensen dat gewoon in één klap willen stoppen. Misschien zelfs belangrijker dan het hogere beschavingsdoel van gelijke kansen op fatbikes voor iedereen

Another question: how do we prevent another backslide? Massive successes with nuclear across the West including France, South Korea, Japan, Germany, etc. didn't stop these countries from turning against the technology and destroying what they built. Safety record, operational excellence, environmental and security attributes...none of it was enough to stop a decades-long dark age. That failure mode still hasn't been solved.
