i told my wife that i would get her a robot that folds clothes. this is it man. it's crazy that Nick has done this, literally fucking insane. and it's a robot I won't be afraid to have in my house b/c it's OPEN SOURCE!!! (it will be kept in the basement tho)

Sourccey is coming next month! It has been a crazy journey getting here. The robot is slowly but surely gaining the capability of folding cloths autonomously and many more tasks can be trained with teleoperation! The future of home robots will be cheap and capable =)

In 1999 the PLA, specifically some very smart colonels therein, wrote a book called Unrestricted Warfare, in it they outlined a doctrine that included many ways for weaker powers to manipulate much stronger ones. Eg How China could take on the US and win. The US commercial drone industry was killed in the cradle by Section 333 rules which required a Certificate of Authorization (COA) for drones to be operated above 200 ft and de facto made enforcement of said COA the problem of domestic manufacturers. In 2016 this was amended to 400ft but the damage was done. Zero indigenous drone companies. Because cost of compliance (getting a COA could take weeks) made any commercial application outside a few narrow bands impractical. DJI is a foreign manufacturer and therefore required no COA because it was impossible to bring an action against them, being located in China. They won the drone war. No industry. It’s my “belief” that this Section 333 requirement and similar was effected by CCP agents who had infiltrated the US government and relevant institutions.

These photos come from inside the Cottonwood Fire burn area in Nebraska. A trail camera owned by Jordan Adams went straight through the wildfire and was left completely melted. When he recovered it, he carefully opened the camera and found the SD card inside was still intact. The photos were saved. Holy shit, they just released number of US troops injured so far in the war - 150!!! Number they gave before was 7 dead and 8 injured. So, they were definitely hiding these numbers. Why? This war is unpopular, and unnecessary. They didn't want you to see true scale of damage.

If you build a system that either explicitly or implicitly argues that all people are politically equal, all human rights are universal, and all political authority is derived only by the voluntary consent of the governed (a mythic impossibility that has never truly existed anywhere on Earth at any point in history), then it’s basically inevitable that you’re going to sooner or later get mass democracy. And mass democracy ALWAYS leads to forced wealth redistribution and endlessly expanding bureaucracies, along with an infinite expansion of new made-up “rights” that actually attack things which were once considered universally necessary to the maintenance of civilization. And to secure all of this, ever more coercive amounts of centralized power have to be wielded by the state, often to a degree that would make the absolute monarchs of the 17th century look like anarchists by comparison. The power the Jacobins wielded over France in 1793 was infinitely more absolute and totalitarian than anything ever wielded by the guy who literally called himself the “sun king” and once declared “I am the state”.
