Un personaje es “malo” solo porque nos cae mal? Desde cuándo hay que seguir el molde del “chico correcto” en una obra? Los personajes se valoran por su evolución, ya sea positiva o negativa. Me alegra que una obra vuelva a centrarse en el conflicto y no solo en lo colorido.

Esta obra lejos de lo superficial, está abordando con los conflictos internos y externos de sus personajes y la complejidad de sus relaciones. Minato es, para mí, sumamente interesante, espero mucho su evolución.

@zooner714 Like, I haven’t been happy with a lot of battle shonen and isekais lately, but I’m not going to swear off the whole demographic because of that iykwim.
Also, if there is a genre you like in one demographic but not another (like romance or action), also good to reflect on that.

@zooner714 I don’t think there’s an issue with avoiding similar shows (altho, always good to reflect why you do/don’t like something for the reasons OP mentioned), I just think swearing off a whole diverse demographic is where the issue comes in.

I wonder if this person has any children herself because Diana (the actual one from the game) has a lot of features that are similar to my 9 year old niece. And if she had children, she wouldn't (or at least shouldn't) be thinking this way.
I think the issue here isn't that Diana is stylized using adult beauty standards, but that some people (the original poster) looked at this child character and immediately sexualized her.
The Diana on the right looks like she's maybe 4-5, while the original Diana looks like a 9-10 year old child.

@Kasoogi @hyhyhydrangea For me specifically, it’s a genre of a demographic. Especially the newer ones. The ones that I have tried, I did not enjoy. So what’s the sin in avoiding others that are similar, knowing it’s not for me and I won’t enjoy it ?

@zooner714 @hyhyhydrangea I’m a little lost on if we’re talking about genres or demographics. It’s hard to swear off a whole demographic (shoujo/josei etc.), because you don’t like certain genres. You can find equivalent genres across all demographics, barring age-restricted content.

@Kasoogi @hyhyhydrangea Yeah the thing is I do watch them and have watched plenty of different shows, to the point where I know which ones are not for me. So do I waste my time and force watch something I don’t like ? Do you do that for shows you know you won’t like ?

@zooner714 @hyhyhydrangea It’s honestly good to watch things that aren’t “targeted for you”, I think it’s a bit of redundant barrier to avoid something just because you aren’t the target audience
Also, by that logic, you shouldn’t engage w/ shonen past 18 years old or watch seinen until you’re 18.
