Me resulta casi divertida la sensibilidad de quienes consideran “desmesurada” la frase de Trump “a whole civilization will die tonight” (una civilización entera morirá esta noche) pero durante años consideraron perfectamente digerible que Jamenei llamara a Israel “a deadly, cancerous tumor” (un tumor canceroso letal) destinado a ser “uprooted and destroyed” (arrancado de raíz y destruido). Trump no es un modelo de prudencia diplomática. Pero la hipocresía de los que se escandalizan recién ahora me causa -casi- gracia. No les molestan las amenazas. Les molesta quién las profiere. La indignación es selectiva.
