This feature was made possible by a decade's worth of work on creating an over-the-air software update service that is reliable, efficient, and battle-tested. Huge props to the engineering team at Particle for getting this out the door!

Or you can use it to update a co-processor, when you're using Particle primarily as a connectivity module and are running the logic of your prouduct on an attached STM32, RP2040, or (name your favorite MCU).

@maiab I think it may be one of these cases where the belief that “breast is best” is so strong that there is concern that an RCT wouldn’t get through an ethics board. I think the sibling study is compelling because it’s a great control - the environment is otherwise the same.

@zs right, so maybe breastfeeding advantages are only because it is serving as a proxy for income. it seems careless that the studies I read on it don’t (or maybe can’t) control for that though! or it’s that it’s not socially ok in our society to say rich kids do better

why is it that the consensus is breastfeeding isn’t any better than formula overall, but then when I look up a specific thing it often says breastfeeding is better for that?
