One day, Nigerian roads will look like this. Clean and properly lined, no dust creeping onto the shoulders. VRS neatly in place, palisade fencing protecting rail lines, and post and rail fencing stretching along the countryside. Drivers will keep to their lanes. Street lights will actually work. One day, it will not feel like a wish. It will be normal.

Lagos state government was stopped under Obasanjo to do exactly the same thing Victor Attah was saying then.
Because Tinubu experienced it first hand, it was easy for him to influence that the law to decentralize power should be passed.
Until we hold our governors, local government chairmen and state of house assembly members accountable, we are not ready for the change we so much desire.

Because that same state has the worst roads so far. Ogun State houses some of Nigeria’s biggest industries, yet the roads look like they’ve been forgotten for decades. How does a state that drives production struggle this badly with basic infrastructure? And then goes ahead to commission an Airport. Make it make sense.
