@tobys_info i don't think people should be acting so incredulous that socialists living in SF could prefer Chan to someone (Saikat) who worked to unseat the best socialist elected SF has maybe ever seen? I know calls for decent conversation on twitter are pointless but 🤷♂️

@primarycatdad I feel like door knocking is an invasive Capitalist derived approach. Acting like you can come to someone's home uninvited is what someone that feels like you owe them something would do in other words a boss.

fwiw, NYC DSA should enthusiastically endorse AOC and should also publicly call on her to take a stand against all funding for Israel (including "defensive" $)

@KraushTakes If she can make a clear and loud commitment to opposing aid to Israel and ending US military aggression (two things the president has a ton of unilateral power over) then I think this would be pretty uncontroversial. I’d prefer Rashida Tlaib but no chance she’ll run it seems

The obvious fact that a lot of socialists are tiptoeing around is that we need to intervene in the 2028 presidential election, and AOC is the obvious best candidate. If DSA doesn't endorse her, what are we doing here?
