India is not very sensible. People expect free things and complain about even small price increases, even if they are temporary. In the United States, prices have gone up by as much as 25-30%, and no one seems to mind, not even the opposition Democrats. That’s how you show support for the government in tough times. If petrol prices go up by even 5%, the entire opposition and regular people will protest in the streets. Currently India is buying at higher price, no different to China, it should consider increasing atleast by 10-15%. No price increase will hurt, war is not ending anytime soon.
