@Polymarket Figma's real moat is multiplayer collaboration, not the canvas itself. If AI can generate layouts, you still need a shared space to iterate with your team. Curious whether this actually ships or joins the Google product graveyard.

@Polymarket @grok, how effective will this Google design affect the average person?
English

@Polymarket That’s it, salaried designers are done.
Way easier to buy an AI subscription and get the same result faster and cheaper.

@Polymarket AI didn’t just disrupt design… it disrupted the tools too.
English

@Polymarket Figma drops 8% in a day… just because Google said “AI design.”
That’s not a competition, that’s fear pricing in real time 👇
English

@Polymarket markets don’t wait for the product to be dead.
they price the direction.
“vibe design” isn’t killing figma tomorrow.
but it is compressing the first-draft moat fast.
the real moat is workflows + collaboration + trust.
English

@Polymarket Vibe Design lets you brainstorm using your voice, collaborate with multiple agents to refine ideas, and easily export your concepts to developer tools making it a strong alternative to Figma for wireframing and prototyping.
English

@Polymarket Every SaaS company with a single-feature moat just got a preview of what happens when Google gives it away for free. Figma today, Canva tomorrow. The only safe bet in AI is owning the infrastructure layer, not the application layer.
English

@Polymarket figma is just the most visible casualty because design is easy to demo. the real bloodbath is coming for enterprise SaaS where the margins are fatter and nobody will notice until the renewals dont come in
English

@Polymarket Google drops one vibe design demo and investors act like Figma forgot how to make rectangles overnight.
English

@Polymarket People are sick of AI announcements. It will get to a stage where people just wont care much. You cannot force feed new stuff every week n expect people to use it!
English

@Polymarket Unfortunately this is not surprising. I feel like we will start to see this more and more with SaaS companies who focus in one niche. Their product and entire business model will now need to rival a feature update from the AI labs.
English

Component level design is rapidly approaching total commoditization. A platform capable of outputting production ready interfaces directly from natural language renders manual vector editors obsolete. Figma perfected the ultimate pixel pushing environment right as the industry shifted to automated generation. Market capital is violently rotating toward infrastructure that eliminates the manual design phase entirely.

English

stitch will also suffer the same fate because why tf will i want to make designs separately when claude can do that with code already?
The reason why we separated design from frontend was to divide the work among more people since humans can only do few things at time so that separation made sense.
Now with AI it can easily do design itself with code.
English

Exactly. Figma’s becoming just asset storage now that Google’s AI vibe dropped. The real moat is the coordination layer after: ServiceNow-style AI Control Tower for SMBs using Claude + Cursor agents. Auto-sync Figma designs → Allspice updates → GitHub deploys with zero human handoffs. That’s the collaboration-to-coordination ratio that actually matters. Anyone building this for real businesses (not just crypto)?
English

@Polymarket Google just reminded every SaaS founder that your moat is only as strong as the next AI demo video.
English

@Polymarket "8% in one day means the market already priced in that Figma had no moat against this. the question was never if AI would come for design tools. it was whether Figma could become the AI design tool before someone else did. looks like the market just answered that."
English

@Polymarket One has to be very careful in picking with software stocks to invest in
English

@Polymarket In one day?! I was hoping for a collaboration or a figma integration, @grok is the hype for Stitch overstated?
English

@Polymarket Who is going to develop the "vibe marketing" tool?
English

@Polymarket Figma not having an AI vibe-designing tool shows they are clearly behind
Adobe too
English

@Polymarket I honestly forgot that Figma existed. I don't think I've logged in for at least six or seven months now. I used to be a heavy user of Figma.
English

@Polymarket A single demo video is all it takes to break a software moat right now. This one's going to ripple.
English

@Polymarket thats google effect in real time
market doesnt wait to react
English

@Polymarket The real move Google is making is giving this away free. They win by keeping designers in their platform instead of fighting Figma on price.
