This, High Life, 28 Years Later, Ghost In The Shell & Tenet are peak ball knower cinema. If someone said they ‘didn’t get it’ I’d understand. Not sure I’d recommend the films to people, but to me they’re proper artistic works.

@Andrew__Boley I'm going to be honest I think it had more to do with who they were choosing. I like Jai & Kitsch but they were poor choices as action stars. We really lost out on Karl Urban who should have been in dozens of action vehicles after Dredd.

action movies have become niche + hollywood gave up on breaking new male action stars after T Kitsch, J Courtney & Collin Farrell didn’t catch on so they switched to get women like Blunt, Theron & Gadot to catch on but they also didn’t land so now we’re stuck with AARP members
