Oh, for the ACA, if you really wanted to fix healthcare all you have to do is make a law that requires all health insurance, and healthcare providers (insurance, hospitals, etc) operate as non profit organizations. As corporations they are required by law to be primarily concerned for the interests of their shareholders. By operating as a non profit they are required by law to be primarily concerned for the interests of their beneficiaries, members and customers. All health insurance and healthcare stocks would hit 0 over night, but healthcare would be pretty good until bureaucratic bloat starts to kick in.

You're not even asking the right questions. You're focused on these myopic issues that you don't realize that we're in scamception and there are layers to this onion.
