Strong early activity for USDCx on Cardano
Input Output Group shared the first data from the USDCx rollout on Cardano, showing solid initial adoption in the first week.
- 15M+ USDCx minted on the network
- $1.17M bridged organically by users
- 6,100+ bridge transactions
- DeFi TVL increased from $127M → $142M
These early signals suggest stablecoin liquidity is beginning to flow into the ecosystem, strengthening the foundation for lending, trading, and broader DeFi activity on #Cardano.

One of the things I really want to see this year for Cardano is that we collectively come up with and set ecosystem goals for 2027.
Right now, we have a vision and a high-level strategy for Cardano 2030, but no clear priority-setting or plan on how to get there.
In order to efficiently allocate funding, we need SMART goals and KPIs.
Ad hoc funding is not an efficient use of the Cardano Treasury, and a first-come, first-served approach is a big middle finger to the DReps who don't know what funding request that might come next.
Let's set clear yearly priorities, potentially even with a rough resource forecast and a dedicated budget season.
I think this would be a more efficient way of doing governance. Of course, anyone can still submit whatever they want and go outside of the "process," but I expect DReps will simply not engage with these proposals unless the value they present is huge.
This is how we can have our cake and eat it too.

I am very tired of hearing what should and shouldn't happen on Cardano with 0 data to accompany it.
The time for talk is over, we need real numbers, real data, so we can make real decisions and hold people accountable.

**🚨 The CLARITY Act’s yield wording just made $ADA/Cardano the only chain built to be a true decentralized bank.**
Latest compromise: **no passive yield** on stablecoin *balances* (no more “just hold and earn bank-like interest”). Banks won that fight. But **activity-based rewards** are explicitly allowed — staking, lending, LPing, governance participation, on-chain usage.
That changes everything.
Centralized stables (USDC, USDT) just got neutered as store-of-value competitors. Capital won’t sit idle for yield anymore — it will *move on-chain* and *stay active*.
