Morgan Harris’s daughters and family have changed history. They would not back down when they were told no, that authorities would not search for their mother’s remains in the landfill. Now, their mother is going home to them. It was a battle that played out publicly in front of Canada and the world. The genocide of our women and girls displayed in the most degrading and horrible way. But these daughters stood tall, the warrior blood in their veins carried them through to fight for justice. It took over two years. But, it’s proven our women matter. We are valuable and worth finding. Worth fighting for. I am so proud of these girls.
