@TunedIntoTennis This is an instance in which more people probably (almost certainly) bought tickets to see Coco Gauff than Dan Evans (no offense to Dan Evans)

@mattvolt My takeaway is that high protein diets in the absence of exercise are detrimental to health by chronically elevating IGF-1. If you are highly active, especially before high protein meals, exercise + protein can be beneficial for health (or at least not detrimental).

A good workout always creates a nice sense of equilibrium when I first arrive in a travel destination. Greatly helps to reduce jet lag and the impacts of plane travel.

I was feeling a little depressed/anxious, went out for a 2.5 hour walk, and now I’m feeling 10x better. Walking in the outdoors is potent medicine.

Far be it from me to tell anyone else what they should be doing… but, when I had body fat I wanted to get rid of, I experienced excellent results when I eliminated: • ALL added sugar • ALL grains & processed carbs • ALL seed oils & prioritized protein. 🤷‍♂️

A healthy dietary pattern is known to promote health and longevity. But there are also specific foods that have been proven to help you live longer. There are 3 in particular that are worthy of including in your daily diet: andrewmerle.com/blog/2022/8/12…

Building a brand is actually very simple. Keep it real. Share your story. Talk obsessively about one thing. Repeat daily. All you need.

@DrFrankLipman I take a daily multivitamin and think it provides benefits. Worst case is it’s a waste of money, but not harmful for health.

Tho it may be controversial, I am a strong believer in taking a multivitamin for sustaining health & improving the quality of cell functioning. They play a crucial role in all metabolic processes of the body, assisting in energy generation, growth & optimal cellular function.

@JoseAntonioPhD I’ve struggled with anxiety on and off for 20+ years. Nothing has helped more than physical exercise.

Physical activity is highly beneficial for improving symptoms of depression, anxiety and distress across a wide range of adult populations, including the general population, people with diagnosed mental health disorders and people with chronic disease. bjsm.bmj.com/content/early/…

@waronweakness Great thread. Clarifying that one focus area is a struggle, but critical to get right.

A personal brand is the most valuable asset you can build. Problem is most people are killing their brand with garbage content. Instead, here are the only 3 pieces of content you need to build a high value brand (My last client paid me $25,000 for this):

@AndrewMerle Definitely exercise, I use to think at 50 no more just gardening & house work...., now it structures my day + knowing it has so many health benefits I intend to keep going.

You show what you truly value by what you do consistently, through ups & downs. What is something you have done consistently for the last decade? For me, it has been exercise. Many things have come and gone over the last 10 years, but daily exercise has been a constant.

To get the real deal analysis of the erythritol study please do see this post from @BioLayne The subjects used were quite ill and they did not measure erythritol consumption/intake. It was about blood levels of erythritol. Please see his post & learn. instagram.com/reel/CpQspxwgq…

@CaloriesProper @DrEenfeldt Fair enough. I think these “healthy” foods can still fit within this framework if you are aiming for an average ~50-60 satiety score. That’s the way I’m thinking about it.

What's the worst nut for your weight and metabolic health? In our satiety scoring, cashews are at the bottom. Why? Low protein & fiber, highly energy dense, and the fat+carb+ED combo makes them hedonic, especially when salted. Hard to stop eating! dietdoctor.com/food-navigator…
