here are some facts about California. some of this is hard to believe. first of all, it's important to understand the concept of "ballot harvesting," which is perfectly legal in CA. this refers to a situation where someone completely unaffiliated with the voter can collect and submit their ballot for them. this flow is completely legal: - a homeless person arrives in LA, where they are eligible for cash assistance, SSI, food stamps, healthcare through medical, and an array of other taxpayer-funded services - they are registered to vote by an NGO (many such NGOs exist and explicitly do this). - they do not have to provide a residential address or any proof of residency to vote. they only have to provide a mailing address, which can be anywhere (church, NGO HQ, homeless shelter). their home address can be "a park" or "an underpass". - their ballot is mailed to the homeless shelter (or whatever address the NGO elects for them) - the only verification done for the mail-in ballot is "signature verification" and uniqueness (only one vote per person is counted theoretically). - the signature can be an X. if they register with an X, they can sign with an X. that is sufficient to pass verification. signature verification is also deliberately loose. the signature does not have to be a perfect match. now consider the hypothetical scenario, which is fraudulent, but virtually impossible to detect: - a homeless person cycles through the LA system. they get registered with their mailing address listed as the NGO HQ or homeless shelter - they "sign" their registration with an X or nondescript, easily replicable signature - they disappear. never seen again. or they exist, but it doesn't matter. they don't get purged from the voter rolls for 4-8 years typically. - the address where they registered receives their ballot for several cycles - operatives are aware that they have X amount of votes to make up. they fill in X many thousand mail-in ballots themselves. the ballots are manually postmarked (permitted). they forge the signature to match whatever signature (could be an X) was submitted upon registration - ballots can be accepted even if they are postmarked at 11.59 pm. polls closed at 8 pm. (you would need an accomplice who is a USPS employee) - the only fraud checks are de-duplication (if the homeless person through some miracle voted in person, only one of their ballots would be counted) and signature verification - because very few of the homeless people in question would have voted in person, this gives NGO operatives tens of thousands of possible mail-in ballots to submit unilaterally. the big problem is that there is NO way to detect this type of fraud. NGOs that register homeless people to vote exist. that isn't a secret. ballot harvesting is fully legal. voting by mail is encouraged. signature verification is as loose as possible. de-duplication doesn't solve anything, since few homeless people vote in person. and no one in power locally is going to spend political capital on rooting out such fraud, since they are all wholeheartedly committed to "voting rights". in a situation where fraud is undetectable, the absence of hard proof of fraud is not evidence that no fraud exists. Raman has gained around 20k votes since election night. She is around 3k votes ahead of Pratt now. there are over 72 thousand homeless people in LA county.

@mottsmith Conservatives in LA should use these tactics against the DSA. Get to the low info voters first before the DSA can. Suddenly when the homeless or elderly start voting red then the Dems will want stricter rules - watch! 👀

I believe LA county is counting votes more or less accurately, but “ballot harvesting” seems like a big problem. If you can’t show up to a polling place with a MAGA hat, how is it ok for a DSA organizer to literally sit you and fill out your ballot for you?

I'm not in Cali anymore but @BoredElonMusk @CaliMAGABarbie you guys should use the DSA playback against them. Use their same tactics & help the "low info" voters with their votes. Wanna bet as soon as the homeless start voting red then the Dems will want stricter rules

@Irish28494 @bennyjohnson Bass is widely disliked. Spencer had republicans, democrats and independents with him - he wasnt disliked. A Pratt vs Bas debate would crush her. He probably wouldn't win in Nov but his relentless campaign videos would have woken up many Dems (which has already happened)

@BoredElonMusk As others have commented, its the wording. Same with years back in 2018 when they passed a measure to release non-violent criminals from jail. Many didn't realize that sexual assault was considered a non-violent crime in CA....so a lot of bad people got released.

The number 1 tell that the LA vote is cooked? Based on current ballots the majority of people voted in favor of raising sales tax from 9.75 to 10.25% On what planet would struggling Angelinos vote for this when they can’t afford housing and food. Total 🐂💩

@Utahdesert @CaliMAGABarbie @BoredElonMusk Yes I was in LA. I called about my provisional ballot right after and they said they had until Jan 2019 to count all them. So I just gave up - didn't bother looking online.

CA’s mail-in ballots create a massive fraud risk. If someone steals your mail-in ballot, fills it out for their candidate, & mails it back, you get a “ballot received” alert. Let's say you show up to vote on election day not knowing this... THAT SECOND VOTE IS CANCELLED during the count. Your real vote was already cast by a thief. And because ballots are secret, you have no way of knowing who you actually voted for...just confirmation that you did. Someone explain to me if this is wrong, but it seems like the law perfectly allows people to hijack votes.

The oddest thing about the LA vote is the electorate that told pollsters cost of living was the #1 issue also voted to increase sales tax — not on billionaires, but on themselves. Either people are confused; or there is fraud; or the system is gamed (legally) by left-wing groups.

@CaliMAGABarbie @BoredElonMusk Yup in 2018 I apparently requested a mail in ballots (I didn't) so when I went to show up in person to vote they wouldn't let me because I didn't have my ballot. After much arguing they finally gave me a provisional ballot but who knows if it was counted

@ianmSC My son works in the entertainment industry in California, which is heavily far left democrats, he says they do not care what is happening to California they having unwavering devotion to the democrat party and will vote only along party lines.

With Spencer Pratt a near certainty to not get out of the primary, it’s become very clear that the major cities in the US are not actually fixable Voters in LA, NYC, etc don’t care about declining quality of life or failed leadership, which is why it’s only going to get worse
