@marcthiessen @randymot4 Most of our allies are helping Ukraine. Selling them weapons for a profit is not doing much to help them. Imagine if during WW2, we just “sold” weapons to the UK for a profit. We could be donating tons of our stock like the A-10s but instead we are going to park them in Arizona.

You literally have no idea what you are talking about. Trump is sending new weapons worth billions of dollars to Ukraine — paid for by European allies, not American taxpayers — including weapons Biden refused to provide. He is allowing them to be used to strike inside Russia, — which Biden prevented them from doing — and is providing Ukraine with targeting intelligence for those strikes. He has put sanctions on their oil and gas - which Biden refused for fear of rising gas prices— and has seized Russian shadow tankers. And he is offering Ukraine a NATO Article 5-style security guarantee as part of a potential peace deal. These are facts. Maybe you should learn them if you want to be taken seriously.

Marco Rubio continues to demonstrate just how level headed, well informed and grounded in common sense he is as Secretary of State. In my view, his delivery is far more direct and honest than that of JD Vance. I have no idea what the 2028 ticket will ultimately look like, but at this point I would be far more inclined to support Rubio running for president, with someone like Tulsi Gabbard as his vice president, rather than a Vance ticket with Rubio relegated to the VP role.

It's important that everyone understands the following: 1. I agree with JD Vance on a lot policy-wise. 2. I don't think JD is a bad guy or would make a bad President 3. I would have no issue supporting Vance in the general election 4. I do not appreciate Vance being pushed as some kind of automatic nominee that we all have to just line up behind without a competitive primary. 5. I do not want a coronation. Whoever the 2028 nominee is must earn it by participating in debates and going through the usual campaign process against quality competition. These are not controversial stances because it is how Republicans have viewed primaries for decades. I'm a DeSantis guy, but I would want a competitive primary even if he were the early favorite. It's good for the party.

A year ago, I was so excited about @JDVance becoming VP. He seemed smart, articulate, principled, savvy, and optimistic. In the last couple of days, I've lost so much respect for him. It would have been such an easy ethical win in this speech to reject the witless groypers, crazy grifters, & sociopathic sell-outs. Instead he sided with some of the most insane, evil, and stupid people who have political influence in our civilization. Vance chose his side, clearly and decisively. He sided with his friends against the interests of his administration, his party and his country. He can redeem himself. But it will cost him a few relationships with former friends who have, tragically, turned insane, evil, and stupid.

I absolutely love JD Vance. But Trump endorsing him possibly in future+ Turning Point locking the primary down feels… off. Now Erika Kirk just endorsed him too? Come on. We’re literally watching the GOP pull a Kamala: parachuting in the pre-selected heir before anyone else gets a swing. Open the primary. Let Vivek, DeSantis, Byron Donalds, Tulsi — whoever — jump in the cage. I’m going to say something people won’t like. Using your time on the AMFest stage to attack others in the movement is PATHETIC.
