There is no way Kentucky voted down Amendment 2 and also overwhelmingly voted every Republican FOR IT back in office. Surely we are not that dumb. 🤦🏻‍♀️

#California can take a seat. People who protect their own rights but then fail to protect the rights of vulnerable others don’t get to crow about their own enlightenment.

voters in one of America’s bluest, most "progressive" states rejected a measure to cap skyrocketing rents — and now, it seems, one to ban *forced prison labor*

@ChrisBohjalian I think it’s not about biological essentialism. As a white woman I say this clearly. White women continue to enable and collaborate with white supremacy because they think they benefit from it. They’re about to find out a whole lot of other stuff now.

That lonely feeling of waiting for a friend who is late even though you checked in half an hour ago, resigned to being the only person in the world who understands how long it takes to get from one place to another.

Despite numerous attempts to deactivate my account here, suspicious error messages leave me to believe that nobody is allowed to leave. I’m over on the site that references sewing and I should be easily searchable (afraid to post any more info because of algos.)
