@BlackMajikMan90 Absolutely. Keep it simple and stick with what worked. A ton of new worlds and paths and endings could be added too for special win-conditions within stages similar to n64 as well, except way more varied. Lots of replayability. An online versus mode would be nice as well...

The next Star Fox game just needs to copy the Star Fox 64 formula to get the franchise back in the limelight. No gimmicks of Star Fox Zero and no open world dinosaur stuff from Star Fox Adventures, just a straight forward and upgraded rail shooter. Simple as that.

It very might be the case that @SeaOfThieves is going through GROWING PAINS. The more I think about it the more I wonder if all of this doubloon resetting, reworks again to seasons, etc. is all repositioning for the future to actually grow again. Like pruning all the things that are not doing well. We’ve needed all these changes for awhile now. The community direct may pop off bigger than any of us could imagine? Here is to hoping

I'll spare you any spoilers but Fox appears during a major space battle after finding out Bowser is the one who truly betrayed his father, not Pigma. Just as it seems Fox is winning, he gets his eyes gouged out and skull crushed.
