Just doesn’t feel right heading to #SundayScramble without cleaning the car first. Will likely get caked on the way but 🤷🏼‍♂️

In other news…… The 166 is being stripped by my friend and former Q colleague Steve Bailey at his bodyshop in Coventry, Bespoke Refinishing Services. Steve and his team are paint wizards - the best there is. Full respray coming and will share updates as it progresses.

How can a car from 1982 still look SO futuristic today? 😍 Love this onboard from @classic_car_glo Citroen GSA 1982 - Sometimes the best way to unwind is a quiet drive with no destination in mind. A 1982 Citroën GSA gliding through the streets.

Twelve months ago I bought a Pajero Evolution after seeing one at Bicester and promptly falling into a very deep hole of addiction. It was red, and it stole all the air in the room. Every Scramble since, I hoped mine would be ready. Three came and went, and the truck was still waiting… either on impossible to find parts, or on parts slowly finding their way to me. I can’t really explain why, but Scramble always felt like the finish line. If the car made it there, the mission was complete. It meant I’d actually achieved something. This time, it will be there. I’ll no doubt be running around as usual, but the car will be very proudly on display with the lovely people at @BluediamondGB. It’s easy to spot.

A little Christmas Alfa 166 restoration update. Some progress made, a lot more to do. But I’m really enjoying breathing new life into it.

We have a superb E24 M635csi for sale - sold by us in '97 to the current owner, and beautifully cared for ever since. A lovely piece of BMW M (and ML!) history, at a sensible price. See our website for full details...

After a thorough overhaul at Alfa Workshop the 166 is home. I love driving it, what a cool thing. I’m a perfectionist so there are many cosmetic things I want to sort, also want to fix the stance and wheels on this car. But for the time being, I’m happy to just look at it!

It’s one of those cars that steal the spotlight without trying. Just a bit of the backstory. It’s one of only 7 RHD E36 wagons to come to the UK. It’s just had over £50,000 spent on it at Autoclass (the best independent Mercedes specialist in the country). Respect to the owner 😅 It’s got more service history than any I have ever seen. Including a book from Autoclass with the entire works documented meticulously. … and it’s coming up for sale.

There are wagons and then there are Mercedes E36 AMG wide-body WAGONS. To me… this is as good as they get. Badass - a word I didn’t think I’d ever use but seems appropriate here.

We are saddened by the passing of Richard “Dick” Degnan. Dick was possibly ATCC greatest ever cricketer. In the peak of his powers Dick opened the batting & bowling. Dick scored a record 25 centuries & took over 500 wickets Sympathy to Josie, @degnan_j, @cdegnan01 & families
