I have seen the spirit of giving alive in the rural setting. People , who many on here, would call “Poor” , noticed this was our first year on the ground, so everyday we get gifts of Nyimo, Nzungu, Avocados, Mangos, Chibage… it’s very very humbling. People without a “dollar” to their name have given us more “VALUE” than any of the Gazillionaires in my phone book.

@adv_fulcrum ..i would not worry too much about these prices not because i am not affected but because it is a race to the bottom, nobody survives this, loss of volume will teach them a key lesson in business, no business survives without customers.

Had the increase been about the war, not only would it have compared favorably with that effected by our fellow landlocked neighbours, but the government would also have reduced its taxes; the major component of the charge. Instead, this increase is about a rapacious, gluttonous few who want to make hay while the sun still shines. It may, however, be that something sinister is afoot, since this may not necessarily be divorced from the policy shift on the use of the ZiG. I’m happy to hear more from those who are more knowledgeable.

This is where we are now. I topped up my tank - 30 litres for ~$70. Many people will and are feeling the pain, including those who were clapping hands for Trump and Netanyahu’s war. The results are immediate. For commuters, in Harare, each ride in and out of town is going for at least $2. That’s minimum $4. I will share later what we can do to ameliorate these severe hardships on millions our people.

This is what happens when you read the Constitution upside down or rely sorely on the Oxford English dictionary to interpret the law. Constitutional interpretation is a scientific discipline and people spend years being trained in that. But in the case of the dispute at hand, there is no need to bring a dictionary. One needs to just read the clear definition of a term limit provision provided for in section 328(1) as follows “a term limit provision means a provision of this Constitution which limits the LENGTH OF TIME that a person [Mnangagwa] may hold or occupy a public office”. With regard to your illustration of two water bottles, when you increase the size (length) of one bottle, you are increasing the length of time that one occupies a public office and thats amending a term limit provision, according to section 328(1). Also, instead of bringing water containers to this discussion, you might need to bring case law. We have Constitutional Court Judgments which say the term of office is 5 years[Jealousy Mawarire v Robert Mugabe-2013] and Parliament cannot change the 5 year term limit without a national referendum [Marx Mupungu v Minister of Justice-2021] @BitiTendai @DCPlatform25 @freemanchari @cdfzim @NewsHawksLive
Tafadzwa Chidawa@chidawaTee

I am saying no person is allowed to go for a third term without a referendum!!

This vehicle is an electric car, meaning it operates on electricity stored in a lithium battery rather than on diesel or gasoline. Given that Zimbabwe possesses abundant lithium reserves, the government is now prioritizing the value addition of this mineral locally, as opposed to exporting it in its raw state. This strategic shift helps explain the growing global trend toward electric vehicles. Below are some specs of some EVs. 2026 Hyundai Ioniq 9 (Best 3-Row SUV): Features a 110.3 kWh battery, 300+ miles of range, and ultra-fast 800V charging (10–80% in ~24 minutes). Kia EV9 (Best for Families): Offers 99.8 kWh battery, up to 349 miles range, and 378hp. Known for its spacious interior and 7-seat configuration. Tesla Model Y (Best Seller/Efficiency): Features 854 litres of boot space (plus 'frunk'), and an 800V architecture for fast charging (10-80% in 36 minutes). It is rated as one of the most reliable options.

@TendaiChirau It wont be viable for Zimbabwe to produce battery grade lithium. The process is a billion dollar investment which at this stage without adequate power to charge the vehicles should be better spent on power generation. They can earn a bit by exporting processed ore

Kudos to ZANU-PF comrades who are standing firm in defense of the Constitution and opposing the 2030 agenda. Zimbabwe will only become a better country when individuals choose principle over blind partisanship when national interest takes precedence over personal or factional gain. Rambai makadzvanya. History will remember those who chose courage over convenience.

@OkaPhusisa I know your pain. I gave a frnd $600 in sep 2015 to clear his car. It had accrued a storage money at the boarder so i was genuinely moved and dropped my guard. He paid back only 450 installments (after my “sobs)over 2yrs. He relocated yo the UK and still nothing since 2018.

You know that kind of situation where you lend money to a friend or relative and you are supposed to be paid back in day/ week/ month etc. after the due date you still can’t get back your money and you must now resort to sob stories to get your own money back. My child was expelled from school, my grandma is sick, I am now owing the landlord 😆

@BhudhiGhivhi Hazvizi zvitsva. If they fall for the trap in your watch Blame urself n the opposition for not having better defense against the weapons. Moyo summed it well “zanu can not reform itself out of power”. Opposition has to make the arsenal that penetrates them.

➡️ There are 3 MILLION+ members of Vapostori in Zimbabwe. There is a reason that Wicknell, some years ago, suddenly "rediscovered" his spiritual roots, joined the sect and became a fervent supporter and partner. He (representing ED) is now a major financial donor of cars, buses and cash to the Sect. 👇🏾 Buying influence... The combination of sectoral religion and money is a powerful concoction that can give you IMMEASURABLE influence over a very passionate mass of people, that you can then use as you desire. 🤷🏾‍♂️ You can weaponize them against opposition forces, you can use their numbers to rig elections, you can use them to fill stadiums in order to FAKE the impression of widespread support, and so on and on... This is just ONE example of how this country is being privatized using many different fronts - and meanwhile, WE are here busying ourselves with criticizing the People's chosen leaders, and occupied by pettiness, not taking an ACTIVE part in resisting the regime's devious attempts to create an opposition-free dynasty of dictatorship. Wake up! The country that shall emerge from ZANU PF's new limitless power will not be easily survivable for you and your family. 🫴🏾 🤱🏾 You might not care right now because you're managing to "hustle" and put food on your table and afford to live, but a country FULLY OWNED by the Mnangagwas will bring you an unimagined hell. A country with no Presidential elections will remove ALL pressure to even do the little they are currently doing. 😏 This country will disintegrate into a wasteland, except for those areas and regions that MATTER to the principles. In other words, there will be small POCKETS of extreme luxury and development scattered around the country, while the vast majority of the country will just disintegrate into a neglected, underdeveloped mayhem of oppression and brutality. That's what Zimbabwean will become. 🇿🇼 It will be lost forever, with a tyrannical one-party state now practically entrenched in law. Those who think they will land on the right side of the new tyranny, are mistaken. Only the few and the selected will enjoy life. RESIST NOW. Fight for a decent country for everyone. #NoTo2030
