I have officially made the decision to end my Twitch streaming at this time. Friday, 6/30/23 6pm PST will be my last Twitch stream for the foreseeable future. But while it might look like I'm failing, I'm absolutely winning. Because, since 2017 - I had a great fucking time. 😊

Ashes of Creation steam release did nothing in convincing me that it is going to be done anytime soon and or stand out in the "MMO" Genre. I think Ashes has a huge identity problem. The world doesn't feel immersive at all. There isn't anything that makes me feel really anything at all when it comes to my place in the world. Only having quests up until lvl 5 pretty much as this point in the development feels criminal. $50 for "early access" and there are a handful of quests. Just feels so weird. Is it all bad? No. I think the combat is actually nice and as an oldschool MMO gamer. I do appreciate the idea of bringing that feel into an MMO that isnt just high dopamine eastern mmo slop. HOWEVER you can have these values and still underperform. Do i think Ashes is a scam and the worst thing ever on this earth? No. Do i think Ashes is underwhelming and developing at a snails pace compared to how it has been marketed especially in the first few years when "Alpha keys" were going. Absolutely. (Also don't hit me with the "YOU KNOW THIS IS ALPHA RIGHT". Yes i know this is Alpha. This also costed $50 for this product and will be treated as such.)

So, @microcenter opened their new Phoenix area location and I got to make some irresponsible purchases. Was a nice soft open, granted the line was huge. Really wonderful to see this kinda technology retail opened again and super passionate people.

RIP New World, what an incredibly sad day. I have ~2000 hours in the game and was ready to put another 2000 in with this latest update. The future was looking so bright. I'm so saddened for the AGS team that was let go. You guys were really cooking and made something beautiful

There are many people that have stepped on the shores of Aeternum. However there is only 1 Wiilly. I went from a depressed stay at dad in a very bad relationship. To a Community leader in @playnewworld. I now have a beautiful Fiancee and am happier than ever. From 0 followers to almost 22 THOUSAND. I've been a full time streamer for this game for almost 4 years. Thru all the ups and downs. Willy was here. I even got this game tatted on me. I will forever be forged in aeternum and i hope people remember the legacy i leave behind. However this is not the end of my streaming career by any means. I will be streaming as always. If you see me out there just know that i am a passionate, loving, caring, and vibey dude. I am looking forward to stepping my toes in new communities. I will be forever grateful for New World and the people that made it possible. I love you all 💜
