You can get refund even after 6 months from OTA! Anyone else tried getting it after a long period?

Sharing the steps taken by OP: What I had to do: 1.Complained to Level 1 Grievance Redressal on IndusInd website. Alternatively you can email to premium.care@indusind.com 2.After 3 days (28th April), I got reply from them asking me details such as name, address, date of application, pan no., mobile no. etc. 3.After 2 more days (30th April), they responded "According to the set norms, we will be unable to disclose the internal assessment parameters under which your application has been rejected." 4.I emailed them back telling them that under RBI's master directions 6.a.1, bank has to tell the exact reason of rejection. I copy pasted the RBI master discretion paragraph and warned them that I will raise this issue to RBI if unresolved. 5.After waiting 3 days (2nd May) with no reply, I escalated to RBI Ombudsman giving them all the emails. 6.On 15th June, as the complaint was under process, IndusInd mailed me from headcreditcards@indusind.com stating the rejection reasons as "CIBIL Rules Failed". Also stating that I hold an active card from January 2025 which doesn't meet the "Vintage Norms". 7.I replied to them asking them for clear reason rather than mentioning these fancy terms. This time I justified my questioning by mentioning details such as my credit score and credit history. I told them I wont close the complaint unless they tell me the reason for rejection. 8.On June 30th, RBI reached to me with the same copy pasted email from IndusInd I received on 15th June. RBI asked me to offer my comments and feedbacks along with documents against bank. 9.I provided RBI with my CIBIL score, CIBIL history and my Credit Account details. I again mentioned the RBI Master Directions guideline and that the bank didnt follow this. Along with this, I asked for Rs 2500 compensation for Mental Agony. 10.On July 18th, IndusInd reached out to me asking details of my bank account where they had to deposit Rs 5000 as compensation, which I provided. 11.On 22nd July, I got the amount in my Bank Account. 12.RBI closed the complaint on 25th July. I used ChatGPT to mail IndusInd and RBI. Provided it with basic template without any of my personal details to ensure basic privacy. Made sure to mention rules and guidelines so that I have proof that I instructed and requested details from Bank and RBI as per the correct procedure and guidelines.

🚨 Dubai officially denies 23L Golden Visa It always sounded too good to be true. However, it exposed two major issues: 1) Serious concerns in India due to which large number of people want to migrate 2) Indian Media continuous circulation of fake news for TRP
