@ABHibbs21 @TheCartoonBase Problem is when animation takes 9 months to a year, waiting it out leads to a lot of staff turnover and that makes it even harder to bring the show back even if it does well. Shows should get at least 2 seasons with moderate time in between so they can be properly looked at.

Apparently Strange Voyage was the last INTENDED piece of Amphibia story, so this must have been planned for quite a while. Very intriguing!! I am SO curious on what he's got planned for this

@DanaTerrace That's true but if you're a business obviously you have to take into account that thailand mythology is not a hugely popular thing and animated films aren't cheap

@marktonna1 @CartoonGal1 Want to see Season 6 and the Movie before making that call, saw a very experimental return…really think with the right changes they can have a phenomenal Season 6 and possibly even 7 and 8.

I really don’t mean to sound harsh and I don’t hate it but I really hope the show ends after season 6. There’s already been enough #phineasandferb content and it even took over Milo Murphy’s Law. It just really needs to rest at this point

@DTVANews Elevator Irritator: probably nothing too much, thinking it’s a Doof Episode Master of Fate: Keep an Eye out for this one, wouldn’t be shocked if this is a timeskip/AYA rewrite. Would explain why they don’t want to give ANYTHING, because it risks takes away hype from the Finale

@DTVANews So instead of already using the usual cast to play most of the characters on this episode. They instead wasted money on paying a bunch of one time actors to play characters on this episode!

@DTVANews Knowing the story of this episode, I understand why it was made, could’ve had potential, this just wasn’t the right audience and didn’t hit as well. Want the show to keep taking risks, but I don’t think we need a Space Adventure 2.

@_AgentRose_ Nothing was said on what will air or won’t the rest of the year. August starts a Hiatus that may or may not be until the end of the year. I don’t think we’re finishing the season though, December typically is a dead month for premieres so October or November would be a few eps

I thought the rest of the episodes will air first on Disney Channel this year and then be added on Disney plus somewhere in early 2026 Are we seriously have to wait almost a year for the rest of s5? #phineasandferb

@MsTimeka1893 @TheCartoonBase Yes…that being said whenever S1 was made it was made to stand alone because 1. They didn’t have a distributor yet (Amazon bought the show with S1 completed) 2. They didn’t know if they were gonna get more than 1 season, so wanted it be able to stand alone

@TheCartoonBase I will say, a critique I've seen a lot, YDK sounds like a FINALE song 😅 like if season 1 ended with this song, I'd feel like it'd've been a good cliffhanger

‘You Didn’t Know’ was the most technically challenging song from ‘Hazbin Hotel’ Season 1 to put together. The song was the only one that didn’t require feedback and was approved immediately.
