Often has rib fracture. -Reports suggest mild with no hospitalization, which prob means did not need chest tube & avoided more serious tension pneumothorax -Reports say re-eval in 2wks, which would imply that the pneumothorax has already resolved on a follow-up chest XR. Excellent news there. -Avoid air travel for 1-3 weeks after resolution. -Return to play depends on severity - days to weeks. -OVERALL good news as sounds like a mild case and will be fine soon. No concern long-term.
