On this #MLKDay, I want to share a few images of the breathtaking 20-foot-tall monument that was unveiled on Friday in Boston Common, the nation’s oldest public park. It honors the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. addresses crowds gathered to rally for southern desegregation at the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena on June 18, 1961. The ACLU SoCal proudly co-sponsored the event. On #MLKDay and in our centennial year, we honor and commit to his legacy.
