@_RevanDx_ @UberNick The one on the left was built that way because of hardware limitations. It's architecture that makes no sense. It's brutalist with zero actual purpose. Nostalgia says the left image looks better, reality says otherwise

@usurpthachef Hasans family are billionaires within the top 15 richest people in all of turkey. Yet somehow no one in his family is on the turkey billionaire list AND they live with him in his 3500 sqft house in LA

Millionaire Hasan Piker, nepo baby to a family of Turkish billionaires who made their fortune off the Armenian Genocide and charging rent as landlords, complains about paying $6500 for a luxury seat at a luxury sporting event and not getting a shout out by the NBA. Shocking.

Werner Heisenberg on the famous 'Bohr-Einstein debate' 💭 Einstein was not prepared to let us do what, to him, amounted to pulling the ground from under his feet. Later in life, also, when quantum theory had long since become an integral part of modern physics, Einstein was unable to change his attitude—at best, he was prepared to accept the existence of quantum theory as a temporary expedient. "God does not throw dice" was his unshakable principle, one that he would not allow anybody to challenge. To which Bohr could only counter with: "Nor is it our business to prescribe to God how He should run the world." -- as mentioned in Ch. 6, Physics and Beyond (1969)

@PhysInHistory Why science will fail If a scientist can refuse to accept truth , how do we expect them to tell us the truth of it hurts their status and wealth ? On food and health especially

@Tranquility8888 @PhysInHistory In terms of food science, it's constantly debated across the world. Europe bans this, the US bans that, China bans or approves something else, meanwhile, India. Science is a process that has to constantly prove itself. And we see it in action all of the time

@Tranquility8888 @PhysInHistory The situation with Einstein wasn't that he denied quantum mechanics, it's that at the time, it wasn't proven enough for him. By his death, he had accepted it, but to him, it was a stop-gap to something more

@Tranquility8888 @PhysInHistory You misunderstand Einsteins position and the general position of science. At the bottom of it, it's mostly people attempting a better understanding of our world. At the top of it, you have to thoroughly argue and proof your work. You can't just say "because I said so"

@juniorwaldorf @cosmosarcive How much is Tesla's estate paying you to glaze? The elephant thing wasn't Edison and AC current was well established by that point You're knowledge is a prime example of history turned to myth. How much Thomas Eddison estate is paying you to denigrate his competitors online? because if Tesla estate wanted, Eddison's achievements would all be put into question because he stolen many intelectual properties, including from Tesla himself. I don't even need to mention how evil he was with his experiment with elephants, which was a true crime. I respect the man because he literally created the first instrument to record music, but I don't like the attitude of people who try to talk bad about Tesla because he was and always will be a genius. Period!

Nikola Tesla featured in The New York Press, December 7, 1909. In this article, Tesla described a future where people could communicate wirelessly across the world and stay connected with aircraft in flight. At the time, these ideas seemed far-fetched. More than a century later, much of what he envisioned has become reality. Source: The New York Press, December 7, 1909

@juniorwaldorf @cosmosarcive That literally didn't happen. God damn, I hope you're just joking and his myth isn't into aliens now. They stopped funding him because he didn't believe the electron was real, refused to acknowledge physics modern to the time, and laughed at Einstein theory of relativity

@Chipped_Photo @cosmosarcive Actually his investors started to drop out when he discovered and was investigating a signal that was coming directly from the planets Mars, with shows how dumb and scared they all were. Tesla was and still is totally ahead of his time.

@juniorwaldorf @cosmosarcive For over a decade the man kept trying to convince gvmts around the world to fund his Teleforce weapon. Meant to melt planes from the sky at 100s of miles away. The problem was that Tesla wasn't good at physics, denied it's application, and never made a working prototype

@cosmosarcive The investors who didn't put money into his ideas lost big time. What it's missing in the world today is not lack of geniuses, but the lack of visionaries who controls the capital or allocates it in those who's initiative only keeps the world busy, noisy and never evolving.

@Godsx2023 @cosmosarcive He described tech that was already emerging. The first wireless communications happened in the 1890s and the first wireless voice communications was around 1900. Tesla was a good inventor, but he didn't just pull that out of nowhere. Same for flying. Pretty basic prediction
