@J_Steele21 Setting up for the greatest comeback i can’t wait! You got this man, and you have a strong support system. Do what’s best for you and you’ll have all our support!
Well; this is obviously frustrating on many levels. It’s hard to put into words the emotions and mental state that something like this can leave you in. Nor do I want to really.
I just know I have given 100% and have done everything that’s been asked of me and at the end of the day that’s all I can do. But somethings just can’t be explained. For a lack of a better term; “shit just happens sometimes”
In the same breathe; I also know I am one of the best pitchers on this planet. And I will get back to that and even better. There has never been a backup plan. It’s always been baseball. And it will remain that way.
God hasn’t dealt me anything I can’t handle. God saves his toughest battles for his strongest soldiers. God; and his son Jesus Christ have my back and at the end of the day that’s all I need.
I also want to say thank you to everyone who has shown their concern and has reached out. It really means more than you know. Truly a blessing to have the support.
Miss being with the guys everyday. Miss all of it. And I will get back to it.

@andyharry819@ClarknAddison16@bears_fan25 The same could be said about definitions of the strike zone and literally all other rules. It'd probably be best for everyone involved if you stopped wasting your energy being my newest reply guy.
@DEvanAltman@andyharry819@bears_fan25 lmao calling it weird when u realize you could be wrong.😂 If that last sentence was only in reference to fly balls it would not say “over fair territory” Because PHYSICALLY a ball coming from being in the air would not be “over” a line it would be touching or not touching line
@andyharry819@DEvanAltman@bears_fan25 literally idk why this is a thing. It is up to the umpire’s interpretation and human error can and is sometimes wrong
@DEvanAltman@bears_fan25@ClarknAddison16 That’s your interpretation, and according to the league, it’s wrong. It’s not fair according to the definition of a fair ball in 2026, and it is foul according to definition of a foul ball.
@DEvanAltman@andyharry819@bears_fan25 it says “when in contact with the ground”, that is referencing when it is on the ground. They wouldn’t say “not merely over fair territory” in reference to a fly ball. When that would come in play, that would be when the ball struck the ground
@bears_fan25@andyharry819@DEvanAltman that sentence in that screen shot clearly says “must be in CONTACT with fair territory and not merely over it” That’s pretty case closed
Just an annoying loss
Boyd was blah
Pen was blah
Only real positive is Mo Baller still rocks and they made Mason Miller throw some pitches
162 isn’t for everyone. See yall tmrw 😤
@WestLinnEagleAH@CubsZone Your baseline of your argument is the offense lost the game. An offense that puts up 8 hits 7 runs and draws 4 walks is a solid game. Apples to oranges in terms of the team losing. I’m just point out how ridiculous it is to demand a team scores 9+ runs every day. This is on pitch
You're not getting QUALITY STARTS EVERY GAME.
ESPECIALLY WITH 11 GUYS ON iL
So you need to score more runs than other team in order to not lose 3 games in a row.
Its ultimately on the OFFENSE TO SCORE MORE RUNS THAN THE OTHER TEAM. YOU ARE TALKING ABOUY RULES AND HYPOTHETICALS WHILE IM EXISTING IN THE PLANE OF REALITY. IT'S YOU WHO NEEDS A REALITY CHECK.
@Xan_Diego2@LFGPads19 this is a “risk” that’s been in the game for 149 years. Doesn’t sting any less when an ump misses a blatant call. Def on the team for losing challenges but still sucks.
@ClarknAddison16@LFGPads19 A risk you take when you lose your second challenge in the third inning after your pitcher challenges and loses in the first like an idiot
@WestLinnEagleAH@CubsZone I fear u just do not understand the baseline fundamentals of baseball. This would be on the PITCHING they gave up 9 runs. A quality start is 3 runs or less, meaning that’s your pitcher putting you in a spot to win. Idk why this concept is so hard for you to grasp
@ClarknAddison16@CubsZone Cubs went into 9th down vs mason Miller.
Bright spot they scored 2 runs
They were down 4.
The offense couldnt compete with SD Friars tonight.
Its on the offense.
@WestLinnEagleAH@CubsZone Lol, cubs put up 7 runs so now ur changing your tune? It was a bad day, mainly due to pitching, not the offense. Also losing those challenges costed them 2 runs which was the difference and did in fact kill them lmao
