To any fursuit m2kers out there! Does anybody know of a good substitute fur that matches close to Howl Fabrics Honey Faux fur? I wanna make new handpaws for chibi and a possible tail for the future but I need fur that closely matches this fur. Any help yall? :(

@Deergineer There IS limited reg tho. Buildings have occupancy caps. And some cons need to be stricter with the number of tickets they sell tbh. It would make cons go smoother for attendees if they didnt go over max and make every event SLAM full

@RowanTheSaber @PawketSnack @Chase_Retriever Its mostly unfair to fem presenting folks arent allowed, so its just easier to blanket ban ALL nips. (Tho they should be doing that at the pool too but thats not really in the con's space to control)

@PawketSnack @Chase_Retriever I always go off the rule "no nips, no holes, no poles" anytime I've been to a night market. Yeah it can be goofy, but I'd rather not worry about the con being upset

I think FWA should stop doing night markets

@Chase_Retriever Just have an all day NSFW area or do the night market EVERY/more nights then just one. You creat a false sense of FOMO with it only being 1 night and people panic to get in. OR just make the whole con 18/21 up and have it all day/ all con.

FINALLY! Bodysuit is complete! Phew! Just the test fit to go, then final checks and additions then it's head sculpting time, my favourite part!

@Eosintis @SyrupDesolation I didnt even know it was an option is the issue. If I knew It was I would have been more assertive.

@CourseAHorse @SyrupDesolation Nah you gotta really be assertive with some of the staff. They’ve gotten better with who staffs, so they are more sensitive and aware, but sometimes you do gotta be up about it.

@Eosintis @SyrupDesolation That was not made clear to me even tho I had a disability badge. I was told to wait in line or dont go.

@CourseAHorse @SyrupDesolation Last year thy actually expedited people with disabilities. And the year before that everyone was allowed to sit down. There still was a line to get in for your time last year, but I showed up at my time and was let in (since I have a myriad of disabilities myself)

@SyrupDesolation @Eosintis I think the issue with that it prevents a lot of disabled folks from getting in T-T So folks cant stand that long (or go without a restroom/food/drink/meds etc). This isnt a good solution but the other one was not good either.

@crafterspaniel Also it requires being put in the freezer over night. So if you are staying in a hotel, its very difficult (if not impossible) to "recharge it". Its basically just a big ice pack you strap to your chest.

@crafterspaniel I got an ezcooler vest many many years ago. It lasted maybe an hour MAX and it was so bulky it made me suit look REALLY weird and hunch backed. (Photos inside are without the vest, photos outside are with the vest.) I hated the way it looked/felt so much, only used it once.

has anyone tried those cooling vest while fullsuiting? and how do you like it? i’m gonna try to get my personal full suit done by anthrocon and i really wanna try to fullsuit as long as possible! also what brands do you recommend if you have tried it

i’m not in the furry space but i do work with mascot type costumes so i have to ask - why is every fursona costume i’ve ever seen the same shape? no matter what animal. where are the round bellies? inhuman proportions? is it because you all value being hot over character design?

@snepyeen @FurConfessions 1) treat it like a job, not a friend group get together, I have seen staff not take shit seriously and waste time and money. (Yes have fun but stay focused and if you arent committed then DONT COMMIT.) 2) Stay ORGANIZED and delegate responsibility out. Dont try to do it alone.
