Back in 2020 we carried out works on the bridge for @GlasgowCC including repairs to cast iron parapets, strengthening of the two main plate girders and replacement of corroded rivets, removal of existing surfacing and cladding and reinstatement of deck. covanburn.com/covanburn-proj…

The humpback bridge makes up part of the Kelvin Walkway, which runs from Belmont Bridge in the heart of the West End to the old railway bridge over the river.

🌉 The team have commenced work on the repair and realignment of the cast iron parapet on the Partick Bridge for @GlasgowCC. 💡 Built some time between 1876-8, this single cast-iron arched road bridge is notable for its decorative quatrefoil tracery parapet.

New Contract! 🏛 We are delighted to be starting work for @inverclyde on the restoration of the category B listed Custom House Quay Clock Tower. 💡 The 19th century tower was designed by William Clark and made for Greenock Harbour Trust around 1860.

🚧 Progress update The team continue to make good progress at @MotherwellFC's Fir Park ahead of the 23/24 season kick off. All stairwells now cast and installation of steps has commenced.

This week has seen the commencement of the installation of the pre-cast units and pouring of the first four reinforced bases for the stairways. Steel and shuttering to pour the first walls and continuation of the PC unit install to come this week.

🚧 Progress update We're making good progress on our works to install new stairways and retaining wall on the John Hunter Stand at Fir Park, @MotherwellFC.

🌞 The team are taking advantage of the stunning weather to complete subbase and final grading work on roads and paths at Linn Cemetery for @GlasgowCC.

⚽️ Covanburn are delighted to have been appointed by @MotherwellFC to undertake works to the John Hunter (East) Stand. The planned completion of the works is the end of July, ahead of the new season.
