for anyone trying to scale a marketing or services company, here’s the biggest unlock i’ve had building Surgence Labs into a 7-figure team of 35: the more you give without expectation, the more it comes back. in the early days, i took on work for free just to build case studies. worked underpaid but over-delivered to earn reputation. don’t feel entitled at the start, that’s when you say yes, when you do the extra, when you’re proving yourself. you can start getting picky later, when you’re battling capacity. but never lose that hunger to exceed expectations. even my team used to question some of my decisions, “isn’t that excessive”, “but that wasn’t in the scope”, I still get these today. go above scope. take the extra call. send the doc no one asked for. solve the problem that “isn’t your job.” it won’t pay off instantly, and it almost never comes from the same place you gave it. but it always comes back… in trust, in referrals, in opportunities you couldn’t have planned for. give without keeping score. it compounds faster than anything. comment below 👇 if you want to learn alongside me as I break down how i scaled surgence labs to the 7-figure-a-year company it is today with a goal to hit the 8.

In the beginning, we were laying down train tracks at full speed, barely a step ahead of the engine. Every new client, every hire, every system was a mad dash to keep from derailing. No playbook. Absolutely gutted this morning. To wake up to messages saying we have to delay the launch due to congestion of the Solana network makes me realize that the most unexpected events happen when you least expect it.
