So Nate The Hate is saying an Ocarina Of Time Remake is coming later in the year. I am still skeptical about this and have a few thoughts.
1. First off whose making it, no way it can be the Zelda team they are preoccupied with the next Zelda? What team internally has the skill level to pull it off?
2. A remake as opposed to a remaster would take 4 to 5 years and youd have to fundamentally rethink every convention in the game and would require a crap ton of resources.
3. Surely this isnt their big holiday game if it does exist? or they release it in October. Ocarina Of Time is my third favourite game behind RE4 Remake and Super Metroid, I love it to death but let's be real no way can this go toe to toe with GTA 6, and if I have to pick one game during Xmas I am 1000% picking GTA 6 over a remake of Ocarina Of Time and I guarantee many others will too.
My belief was always an updated version of Ocarina Of Time on 3DS was more plausible.

@naval I just don’t think this is true. There might be interactive experiences like this, a new kind of medium, but it won’t be a game.

I didn't have $1 million for a Game Awards Trailer so I'm posting my ASCII 3D RPG game here instead for free!

A 3 minute trailer at the Game Awards now costs up to $1 million Via Kotaku

@elonmusk Would love to see true infinite looping animations from one of these apps someday.

@chrisdacey Dude you can’t just call yourself a “citizen journalist” and expect to get access to a world leader to ask some retarded gotcha question about his private life. You have no credibility. Grow up.

@JJ_McCullough I'd be happy to settle it in a debate anytime. Let the people decide who has the better understanding.

@wyverian_MH Endgame is lacking, performance is awful. I enjoyed Wilds for what it was but I’m done with it. Might come back for expansion.

I’m inviting Prime Minister @MarkJCarney to come on my popular YouTube channel for a longform interview. Invitation already exists for @PierrePoilievre and @theJagmeetSingh

@PalmerLuckey May find on the margins that there are some very high performing teachers that, in combination with AI, will deliver much better outcomes than AI education alone and end up highly sought-after and well paid.

@JJ_McCullough I think this is very silly. Regions have their own identities and ways of doing things. Removing trade barriers is enough.

@Macbaconai ty this is amazing, first time I’ve changed my wallpaper in 6 years

@DDwili @ConcernedApe I had this several times on switch but only during couch co-op

@KonstantinKisin The left gets woke. The right gets redpilled. Neither saw the sequels to The Matrix (admittedly bad), where it’s revealed that waking up to and joining the war against the machines is just another mechanism of control.

I'm glad we started a conversation about the Woke Right. It's not a term I've ever been particularly attached to. As I've said before the Barbarian Right, Nietzschean Right, Dissident Right etc are all useful for highlighting different aspects of the same thing and may be more useful.
In fact, given how many people are upset by it, I hereby withdraw the term “Woke Right”.
On one condition: you provide a better term to describe the fringe of the Right which replicates every key aspect of wokeness:
- thinking the West is bad and siding with its enemies
- playing identity politics on the basis that their group is oppressed by a secret invisible force controlled by another group/groups
- having an obsession with group-based victimhood and grievance
- seeking to revise and pervert history to fit its ideological narrative
- reacting to disagreement with name-calling, ostracism and bullying
- creating a culture of fear among more centre-leaning people on their side to prevent criticism (you should see how many people message me privately to say they agree about the Woke Right but don’t want to say anything)
Looking forward to all your suggestions :)
