SHIPU was represented at the launch of the Annual Crime Report 2025 by IGP Abbas Byakagaba [@igp_ug1]. A total of 196,405 cases were reported at police Units, compared to 218,715 in 2024, representing a 10.2% crime reduction. A total of 24,899 cases resulted into conviction leading to 31732 persons sentenced. Specifically Economic & Corruption crime reduced from 13132 cases in 2024 to 11,548 cases in 2025 representing a 12.1% decrease. Strengthened Inter-agency collaboration, coupled with intelligence-led policing, has been highlighted as key factors behind this crime reduction. SHIPU under the guidance of Col. @edthnaka remains cognizant of the critical role played by MDAs in ensuring a conducive investment landscape that enhances investment and economic transformation. #EmpoweringInvestors #ACR2025
